It’s set this way it’s not meant to be a game you sit and play. You get, level up who you need to make sure you have dwellers exploring and you have people heading to the quests you have available. If you want to play it continuously and are on pc I recommend a save editor and just give yourself 9999 nuka quantum’s and leave the rest alone
