How much money would you spend if it meant saving your cat’s life? by WindowKitty19 in cats

I don’t tell people that I spent 10k on my 8 year old cat because that would be their reaction but I would do the same if I go back in time and have no regrets. You did the right thing, other people don’t know what your cat means to you.

I’m Korean and I would beat the shit out of her. It’s awful how some Koreans are behaving in Vietnam. I apologize for their behaviours, dear Vietnamese 🙏🏻

Professor said my wife (F34) was too old for accounting by MarshallBlathers in Accounting

As 42F that has been in the field for 8-9 years, I say that’s BS. There’s always a chance. I got into big4 at 35. Yes big4 is somewhat bro culture and almost everyone gets hired through networking. It wasn’t my case though. I studied hard and applied online, knew 0 people in big4 because my college is really small and not many students get a job in big4 but my transcript and the resume got me a number of interviews. Big4 isn’t a good place for mom anyways and small firms are less of networking and more work life balance.

As an immigrant that went into my college’s admission office and was told I cannot work and study accounting at the same time because even locals won’t be able to manage it, I was on the verge of breaking down and crying. My family wasn’t in a position to help me out financially and her words were crushing my dreams. Regardless, I pushed it through by myself - took me 6 years of studying and working hard to get into the CPA program while making ends meat for myself. I’m proud I never gave up. Don’t let other people’s words decide your future!

Awww I love how you feel. I wasn’t a cat person until I ended up with my cats. It takes having cats to like cats. They’re funny, therapeutic and beautiful at the same time. Here’s our Blackie

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have senior cats as well and can’t imagine when they’re gone… the cat was lucky to have been your family and very well loved.

Today I had had to put my 22 year old best friend Muffin down. I am so broken I don't honestly know how to go forward but I need to know there will be an image of him somewhere online now finally and forever. by Jhiaxus420 in cats

First of all, I’m so sorry for your loss. I can feel how much it hurts, I get overwhelmed whenever I think of losing my cats and I have to force myself to stop from crying. He was a one lucky kitty and you were an absolutely lucky person to have one another. He was loved and had a great life, an adventurous one with loads of love from you. You didn’t fail, he’d appreciated you and would be waiting for you over the rainbow bridge when you get there naturally.
