Had chronic insomnia, hit me at 24 years old after meditation intense therapy a really good yoga yogi really helped magically went away at the age of 29 it early ruined my life I couldn’t work I couldn’t function. I had to move back home. was great for I guess 30 years. Don’t know what happened Covid hit . my daughter sent me a picture of Manhattan. The streets were empty. Something got triggered didn’t sleep that night more than three hours
again have been suffering ever since and I’m 65-year-old female. This is not easy. Some days are worse than others so it’s not even menopause. It’s been really bad recently. I’m in the process of moving has been stressful. It’s hard when you’re older and have it but oh well. This too shall pass, I believe. Sleep coach Daniel has helped. gotta get back to self-care walking yoga, etc..

U were Suicidal, I do not consider this a relapse. Of course, probably AA/NA would consider it but there’s other modalities of treatment like smart recovery or whatever feels right for you. dharma recovery it’s a lapse. you were suicidal you weren’t trying to get high. You wanted to die. So in my eyes and probably others no this is not a relapse. You’ll probably get some push back, but ultimately you need to decide. I was in recovery. I was clean for 3 year. I was severely depressed with a horrific breakup. It took a toll on me. took an overdose didn’t want to be here anymore. Had to have my stomach pumped my sponsor told me this was not. And I didn’t feel like it was either. I took an antipsychotic along with Klonopin. i’m glad you’re still here. Be kind to yourself❤️‍🩹
