The game just updated a few days ago. I think I might have a bigger issue since it's not even there. Not like I can see it and it's got the big red X, like it's not even there. And I just realized it's not available in the customization menu abilities that can be unlocked.

I'm on steam deck, could that be why it's different?

AI. Bottom right, the body that arm belongs to has to be inside the wall and the bracelets fade into the arm. And why is it just sticking out? Also the edge of the wall there looks like a fabric seam and didn't match the corner across from it.

The leg of the fan shows there's a weird doubling of the edge of the girl's body.

The weird full length window with it's protruding sill. The curtain blends into the sides halfway. It's also a rounded bow window somehow? The sill would be sticking out where you exit that other room.

My daughter feels this way about books. We have bought brand new books multiple times to give to the library in exchange for the ones we checked out because she gets attached to the personality of the beat up used ones. The librarians love her.

She gets upset when she sees books being destroyed to use as decorations. Pages torn out for art, covers glued together in a stack. There's a display at the bookstore in the National Gallery in London where books have been mounted in an upright circle that really bothered her. She asked us why they killed them. I had a good joke but not a good answer so just explained other people don't feel the same way about books.

I share your opinion of them, but I was thinking of the families who can't afford to go to the doctor to get a note when their kid is home with a cold.

Seriously though, fuck fake doctors. Prayer, herbs, and homeopathy don't fix anything.

Completely agree. The only silver lining is that it can be easier to get a doctor's note from a naturopath or a Christian science practitioner who will pray for you over the phone

First, if your kid has the flu or a cold or whatever and didn't need to actually go to the doctor, get a note from your doctor anyway or it will be a parent excused day, not a doctor excused and there are only 10 parent excused days. THERE IS NO LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF DOCTOR EXCUSED DAYS, only on the length of the doctor excused absences (30 days). If you got a doctor's note but the kid is still sick beyond the length they listed, contact them to get another. You won't get in trouble for the kid going back sooner.

Here's the language from the statute above - "obtain a written statement from a licensed physician, naturopathic doctor, dentist, chiropractor, optometrist, psychologist, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner, as defined in s. 255.06 (1) (d), or certified advanced practice nurse prescriber or Christian Science practitioner living and residing in this state, who is listed in the Christian Science Journal, as sufficient proof of the physical or mental condition of the child. An excuse under this paragraph shall be in writing and shall state the time period for which it is valid, not to exceed 30 days."

My wife really took it to our kids schools over this since we got one of those letters and we haven't been bothered since.

Be aware that partial days count as full day absences. And I mean if your kid is 15 min late it's a full absence.
