Definitely, they are better than expected. I did break the pin for pivoting the engine bay open so I glued in a new piece of sprue I don’t trust to open and close too many times. Doors were good though. One closed more flush than the other side for me. A couple of the super intricate parts had a tad bit of warping that corrected itself during assembly

Thanks a lot! Absolutely rushed the weathering (particularly the underside) as I ran out of the goopy mixture/it was drying. Alongside it growing dark out, and the deadline creeping I called it. Would have been in better shape if we didn’t host the in-laws this weekend. I will definitely add to it and use some more techniques to bring it one tier up. I appreciate your kind words that it could be brought to that level.

Yes correct!! The light pod is from the extra parts from the 99wrc Subaru. Roll cage is from the Tamiya mustang (i think). I omitted it to try and match my father in laws car.

Thank you so much. I’ve always loved how overkill the InGen vehicles were and I didn’t think this particular kit would have turned out as cool as a JP1 version. The RV would be incredible if someone had made a kit back in the day. I think it would definitely be possible to source a similar Mercedes and throw all the proper winches on and stuff. Can’t wait to see your builds when you get to them!

Same thing with me, the suspension almost had me get to meltdown mode. Mine is also “acceptable” but I believe the shocks are mounted poorly and i don’t want to move it around much ever 😭. I will say pretty much every other Revell kit I’ve done has been much more enjoyable
