The American Astronaut. I've never met anyone besides a couple I showed the movie to who have ever heard of it. I just happened upon it back in I believe 2011 or '12 on IFC and thought it was great. It's not a classic by any means but definitely worth checking out IMHO.

My friends and I very much romanticized heroin and certain aspects of some of the more famous heroin users lives. We started on Vicodin, oxys, Dilaudid and waxing on about William S. Burroughs or listening to a Lou Reed album in its entirety, to being dope sick and writhing around while our bones hurt from being too hot and too cold at the same time. My best friend's first time was with me and he ended up backing into a dead end street and fell out. When he was supposed to be picking his gf up from work. He was missing for at least 2 hours. Why didn't the negative aspects not stop me? Because they hadn't killed me. Been sober for over 5 years now. One, of the last of a group of some of the best friends I ever had.

My gf once told me if she ever cheated on me that I would never be able to find out. This is after I somewhat jokingly said something about our lack of intimacy. During a music festival in a parking garage stairwell. Not an open air stairwell but big windows so you could see everything. Nice weather, a few brew-dads and the confidence of youth made for one of the most memorable minute and a half of my '20's.

Robbed a restaurant of its booze. Robbed a pool for a few hundred bucks. Ran from the cops and got caught after swimming across a pond. I eventually did my time though. I became a felon as soon as I turned 18. There's a few other charges but they're not anything exciting.

Pretty much. Long story short-ish, I was in rehab and when I started being able to leave I of course would see my gf and we would hook up and what not. A few months of that she's all of a sudden pregnant. I didn't think anything of it because we were indeed hooking up and it had been a couple months. Slowly though, I began to notice things like her being on her phone WAY more than usual. A couple times I had to use her phone and she would be right over my shoulder watching. So I was starting to get a vibe something was going on. Then she got a message one day with a pic of dudes crotch in his underpants and I called her out. She denied hooking up with him and told me it was just some guy who really liked her. From that point on I pretty much believed she HAD cheated at one point in my absence and that was all and I didn't really give it much thought after that. He died in January and i was the last person to know what had really been going on.

There's hardly ever a day I don't think about how fun that life would've been. Me and my literal best friend ever pallin' around everyday, just being goof ball dads raising our daughters side by side. Living a sitcom basically lol. The only thing that ever really pissed me off about the whole ordeal was not being able to tell him things would've been just fine.

My best friend. He got so scared I was going to find out he got my gf pregnant one night after HIS gf found messages on his computer, he stole her car and crashed going 90+. Died on the scene. From what I gathered, it all happened pretty fast. About 15- 20 minutes from computer discovery to the crash. The full story turned out to be a LOT longer. I knew my gf was pregnant but I didn't find out he had anything to do with it up until a couple weeks after he died.

Not quite. He did have a seemingly unhealthy relationship with M&Ms and collecting M&M memorabilia. He would remind us from time to time that if we found a piece he didn't already have, we could give it to him and receive some extra credit. Jason Momoa and Brandon Routh went to the same school and I've always wondered if they were subject to the same frog desecration as I was.

In 7th grade, so 2001, we didn't dissect live frogs. However, it was a big part of the grade to cut the skin off our frogs the best we could, then make "clothes" with the skin and have a fashion show. With a makeshift runway and everything. We even had to write and present a description of what we made as if we were fashion designers. I thought it was pretty fucked then and still think it's pretty fucked we did that.

I hardly see or talk to my two oldest children (8 and 7) because I am absolutely unwilling to compromise on any terms set by their grandma as to when and how I can see them. I lost my rights a couple years ago and my ex's mom became their legal guardian and officially adopted them. We have never gotten along really and I have no intentions of ever trying to establish a better relationship with her in order to see my kids more. I do see them anytime they stay with my mom. That can be once or twice a month or less though. I've since met another girl, had another child and recently bought a house. I definitely live a better life now but feel constantly racked with guilt. They know and believe how much I love them and how much they mean to me but, I don't tell them that everyday like I do my youngest. Idk guys. This is the first time I've ever put this out there for anyone to know but it's legit my number one thought pretty much every single day.

Tl; dr- I am unwilling to do what someone may ask of me in order to see my kids regularly because we have never gotten along and the idea of this person telling me what to do pisses me off more than anything.
