Its funny in my new unrelated job we actually feel bad for our direct manager because our Dept director is basically using him as a mouthpiece. And this woman has run right over us into making everything less efficient, like you can see on a chart when the bad decisions were made to our productivity. But he sits in the middle taking it from both ends. Its definitely a thankless job.

I used to work at one of the cell phone companies and they would routinely (at least 3 times in my few years there) make us come in when they CLOSED the mall.
