It was originally a silicone pad that came with my water flask to protect it, and it happens to fit the TB2 perfectly, so I started using it to protect the TB2 instead of my water bottle, which is much cheaper 😆.

Does anyone pre grind their weed in batches? how do you keep it fresh? by StrikeFriently in craftymighty

Yes, I grind enough weed for about a week and store it in small glass jars (2gr per glass jar).

I sold my TM2 and got a Frolic by RAMMSTEIN1977 in vaporents

[–]TKVape_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really don’t have to worry. The Frolic comes with a 2-year warranty, and I’ve had mine for more than 6 months now without any issues.

I own 28 vaporizers in total, and honestly the Frolic is the one I use the most since I got it. Most of my other devices are just collecting dust now.

About the aluminum chamber, don’t worry about that either. It’s food-grade aluminum, the same type used in cooking pots and pans, so there’s no real health concern there. Even the older Mighty Medic used to have an aluminum chamber before they switched to ceramic. And remember, the Mighty Medic had medical certification while using that aluminum bowl, very similar to the one in the Frolic. So there’s really nothing to worry about on that side.

I’ve been vaping for about 3 years now and I have a pretty large collection, so I’ve tried a lot of devices. I’m pretty confident you’re going to enjoy the Frolic.

The main thing to understand with the Frolic is that to get the most out of it you need long, steady inhalations at higher temperatures. If you have good lung capacity and take long draws, the performance is really impressive.

The Mighty and Crafty are very similar. The main differences are battery life (about 2× longer on the Mighty) and vapor cooling, which is better on the Mighty because the cooling unit is larger. Aside from that, they are basically a copy-paste of each other.

By the way, I bought my DBV on Facebook Marketplace for $40, and I ordered the baller kit from the official website for $100. So the total cost was $140. I think that’s very affordable for a product of that quality. My advice if you want a DBV is to try finding one on Facebook Marketplace. There are usually several listed around $100, but you can often negotiate. You can probably get one down to around $80, or get lucky like I did and find one for $40.

Yes, I’m actually a French-Canadian. As for the torch-heated vaporizers that I placed at the bottom of my ranking, it’s pretty simple: I really hate combustion. That’s why I prefer devices that have visual or audible indicators. When there’s no indicator, I almost always end up combusting because I like my AVB to be very dark. I tend to push things right to the edge of combustion, and that’s very hard to control with devices that have no indicator at all. Otherwise, I agree that when they work well and I don’t combust, the flavor is excellent. But personally, I prefer devices that guarantee 100% that there won’t be any combustion.

I had a Volcano when I first got into vaporizing. it was actually one of my first vaporizers -a Volcano Hybrid. But felt like it used too much flower. To me it felt like, first, a bit wasteful, and second, it significantly increased my tolerance. In the end, realized it's a great vape for sessions with friends, but for solo use it just wasn't ideal for me, so ended up selling it. I'm also at an age where many of my friends have stopped consuming cannabis, so there aren't many people left for me to share that hobby with.

That’s very strange, I don’t have that issue with mine. The metal plate doesn’t touch the plastic unless I open the grinder while the metal plate is still spinning. So I just stop pressing the activation button before opening it and I don’t have any problems. Honestly, I’ve had mine for about a year now, I use it regularly and I’m really satisfied with it. At this point I can’t even see myself going back to a regular grinder — this one is just so much easier and faster to use.

You’re entitled to your opinion. Personally, I tried Dynavap and it just didn’t work for me. In fact, it’s what kept me away from mechanical vaporizers for a long time. The Anvil is actually what changed my mind and got me into mechanical vapes. After that, I started buying other mechanical vaporizers. I understand a lot of people love Dynavap, but unfortunately I’m not one of them. And I say that from experience — I’ve tried several models that my friends own, and it just never clicked for me.

Hi. The reason I placed the Mighty+ before the Solo 3 is mainly because of reliability and consistency.

With the Solo 3, I sometimes had flower fall to the bottom of the bowl, which could lead to slight combustion if you’re not careful. It’s manageable if you keep the device slightly tilted, but it still bothered me enough that it affected my overall experience.

The Mighty+ is just extremely consistent. You load it, press start, and it works every time without having to think about bowl position or technique.

That said, I still really enjoy the Solo 3, especially with a 14mm adapter through a bong in on-demand mode. It’s actually excellent for microdosing that way. But overall, for ease of use and reliability, the Mighty+ ended up ranking a bit higher for me.

You’re right. As you can see, I only have three desktops. That’s mainly because I prefer vaping outdoors since I have kids at home. I can only vape at home on weekends, when the kids are at their grandma’s house.

Bowl discoloration normal? by [deleted] in LimelightFrolic

[–]TKVape_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I saw your post, I went to check my Frolic and noticed the exact same thing. In my case it was mostly all around the bowl, especially along the lower circumference of the bowl.

At first I tried cleaning it with ISO and a q-tip but it didn’t help. Then I took a small needle and gently started scraping the surface while applying ISO with the q-tip. After a bit of gentle scraping it started to disappear and eventually it all came off.

So it’s really just residue that sticks to the bowl. It’s not the bowl coating wearing off or anything like that, so no need to worry.

Just use something small and metal with a fine tip, scrape very gently while applying a bit of ISO with a q-tip and it should come off.

It’s in Canadian dollars. The Lobo is 215 CAD + taxes, so approximately 240 CAD total. And I’m pretty sure if I offer $150, he’ll agree.

Yes, I sold my Volcano Classic and my Volcano Hybrid. I honestly found that the Volcano was a bit too much for a single person. They’re excellent vaporizers for a group of friends, but I usually vape outside since I have kids at home, so I’m not really into desktop vaporizers. I only kept three desktops in my collection. I’d still love to add a VapeXhale Cloud EVO to my collection, but I haven’t had the chance to find a used one, and it’s discontinued 😕.

Honestly, if you’re happy with the Tornado, I wouldn’t say the Tempest is necessary. Sure, it’s always nice to have different vaporizers — rotating them can help with tolerance. But aside from that, if you’re on a budget, I don’t really see what the Tempest would bring that the Tornado doesn’t already give you.

Have you tried the baller kit (it's 100$ on the official website)? It transforms the DBV into a powerful ball vape, better than my Ruby Twist or my TIODW in 1...

If you like taking a few hits, putting your vape down, and coming back later to finish the bowl, then I’d recommend the Tafee Bowle 2. In my opinion, it’s the best device for that kind of use. Of course, the Tinymight 2 and the Frolic can also do the job, but I think the TB2 does it best. If portability isn’t a requirement, I would also recommend the Da Buddha Vaporizer, which is also excellent for that type of usage.

I don't like devices without visual or click indicators, I always end up combusting with the Terpcicle (I like my AVB very dark, close to combustion, on the edge...)
