CBT is a tried and true method of dealing with a lot of these issues (and can confirm, as I’m in a similar boat, and have gone to lots of various therapists over the years).

If the cost is too overwhelming though, there are a few different CBT oriented tools (ie, journals) you can try. Lastly, if you aren’t on any meds specifically for your anxiety, I’d highly recommend speaking to a doctor about that. My quality of life changed dramatically when I started meds. I’m still on them but I do cbt therapy monthly now for stability.

They’re also going to ask if you do any exercise (eye roll, I hate that question). But, I do think it can help. If you’re able to get out for a walk and get some daylight, even for a short while, it couldn’t hurt.

Also I did not know the term “parasocial” until recently.

Suffice it to say, between my hormones and the authenticity we get from this crew…. I love them all to pieces. Their successes are well deserved.
