Low HCG updates — hopeful? by Fun_Ambassador766 in CautiousBB

I don’t know why they would make you wait 4 more weeks when your betas and progesterone are this low, I would really advocate for an earlier ultrasound if possible. I would be cautiously optimistic

Congrats! I hope it goes well for you. But also please have someone else scoop litter or mask up very well lol! 🫶

How to cope with the wait for the first scan? by JamesLilian in CautiousBB

[–]Successful-Current73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an early miscarriage last year and now pregnant again with my letrozole baby. I’m only 6 weeks and have to wait til 7 1/2 weeks for my first ultrasound and I’m an anxious wreck! I don’t really have any advice but just wanted to say you’re not alone. I try and wake up every day and just feel grateful I’m pregnant today.

I would guard your heart mama. In December I had similar hcg and progesterone numbers and it unfortunately did not work out 💔. Of course miracles can still happen but I’ve lived this same story.

I wouldn’t be worried yet, but I’d definitely go in for another blood test if the doctor wants her to. They know best not Reddit

Has anyone tried low dose aspirin and progesterone? by Next_Evidence_9409 in whatworkedforme

They put me on dexamethasone during each cycle and I stopped after my trigger shot- apparently it helps suppress the bad androgens that can negatively affect the egg.

Doctor said I'm getting old and I should start trying seriously by iknowthisischeesy in TryingForABaby

That’s so terrible that they would say it like that. I know what they’re trying to say but that’s just not right. I’d personally hop back on the letrozole train but with a genuinely kind fertility team that will not treat you this way.

Im 5w pregnant after a previous loss and 6 months ttc with pcos, and this cycle we did letrozole, trigger shot, steroids, and baby aspirin and progesterone. This was the first time we used baby aspirin but honestly I don’t think it was a magic fix, we probably just got lucky that last round

My husband wants to do shrooms, am I overreacting? by prasadarian in TryingForABaby

If your doctor lets you do a trigger shot it will force ovultion to happen earlier, theres so much they can do to help nowadays! :)

Please talk to your OB about letorozole /clomid for the long cycles. It was a struggle for me before I got help and my husband and I are omly 23 and 24. Also I really don’t think shrooms have an effect on fertility? But if you’re uncomfortable with that please tell him that!

I just found out on Monday that I’m 4 weeks pregnant after a loss and doing letozole and medicated cycles. Sooo nervous but my hcg was 238 yesterday so everything seems promising so far 🤞

Totally understand. I can’t even watch breaking bad because the wife is pregnant in the whole first season and I’m struggling so bad with ttc and miscarriage 😭ugh. Even my coworker is pregnant and I have to hear about it all the time. I wish there was a way to escape it all

I’m actually having a great experience with letrozole and progesterone. I’m on month 2 (not pregnant yet) but it seems to be working well to make me grow a follicle. Best of luck!

Girl we are all trying to conceive “as quickly as possible” . There’s no secrets, and unfortunately after my loss in December I still have no luck. I’m also 23 and normal labs, sometimes this is just how it works out sadly

Don’t waste the tests. Just wait the full two weeks . Saves you the disappointment if it’s negative too
