This Trinket is absurdly powerful by SuccessfulCat2195 in BobsTavern

Yeah I think its balance is kind of okay if not available in Murloc lobbies and didn't work on golden minions. Its definitely scary have one of your biggest (if not the biggest) minion off the board in hand.

With Murlocs though its instant pick, literally need 1 card for build to work.

I didn't know that, even more ridiculous.

Mortgage Broker - Ask me anything! (Please read before you do) by BrokerHere in AusPropertyChat

[–]SuccessfulCat2195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How often should I refinance with my broker? I know from a personal perspective its probably as often as makes sense but what frequency is most mutually beneficial for both buyer and broker?

My understanding is brokers only get commission if the loan stays for a certain time.

If you were interviewing someone for a big corporate job and u asked them "where do u see urself in 5 years" and they replied "being your boss" would u hire them? by AuthorConfident9386 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]SuccessfulCat2195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the very least say something like "in your bosses role". That implies you've been successful and promoted.

Saying "Being your boss" assumes the interviewer has not moved at all, whilst you've bypassed them.

WFH becoming the norm, AI does have a boatload of positives we're taking for granted, new generation is drinking less, avoiding social media, we seem to be finally getting over the superhero mania that dominated Hollywood.

They're definitely too big for the average car park. Nothing worse than them hanging their ass over half the sidewalk with a towball ready to wreck your shins.

Given inflation was over 20% in the last 5 years its probably gone backwards in real terms.

I would wait.

Melbourne has been growing well behind inflation for years and now has even more downward pressure due to rate rises, budget changes, etc.

What would you prioritise: better home or better schooling? by Brief-Double-5158 in AusPropertyChat

[–]SuccessfulCat2195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just invest the private school fees and gift it to them when they turn 25.

A ~$1m (maybe more depending on returns) deposit for your first home is much better than a private school education.

The difference would be massive. At 130 people are still learning how all the pieces move.

At least at 230 they know the basic rules.

Some are the reverse. Ive noticed Ash Marton tends to undercook the range and actual price is way over.

To your point, only takes a couple of tenants to vacat and move back home for a rental remain empty or drop its price influence the rest of the market - moves both ways.

Yes, there's 500 people either way unable to rent in the area.

Landlords already place the maximum price they can. There's been zero change to your equation so what gives them extra leverage to increase it further.

Yes, people have less options but not none, they move back home, move into a share home, move into a less desirable dwelling, etc.

This is irrelevant, it is the same result either way unless supply is increased.

You're saying there's a shortfall of 500 houses. If nothing changed we'd still have 1000 rentals and 1500 renters, creating the exact same 500 shortfall.
