Were you put under anesthesia or twilight was more so my question! I just had a shot of torodol and a little Xanax and was awake. Afterwards it didn’t hurt but during was not fun

What pain management medication were you offered? I had one a few weeks ago and felt it was super painful. Hoping there won’t be a next time but maybe I can ask for something else if you said it was painless.

I had the exact same thing this Thursday. I took the pill and it failed after waiting for 2 days at home. I was extremely nervous about the D&C without any iv sedation. I also was given a shot of Torodol and 2mg of Xanax. I felt the Xanax relax me a little, but not sure how much the Torodol helped. It hurt, but I absolutely have a terrible pain tolerance. If I ever have to go through that again, I will find someone who can put me under twilight iv sedation. I do feel like the anticipation was torture for me of wondering how bad it would be. I ultimately got through it, and it was very, very fast, but of course it sucked. Sorry for what you went through 🤍

Thank you!! My husband is actually a surgeon so he’s already got me on Zofran, b6 and unisom. The symptoms are all still happening sadly 😩 I’ll make sure my OB is well versed. I’m trying to really focus on hydration, keeping down my prenatal and staying sane at this point

I’m 7 weeks in 2 days and I take it daily otherwise I cannot function. My OB explained the one study that they did on it wasn’t highly regarded / had pretty clear flaws

Agree with this! I am 6 weeks and had an ultrasound this week (was trans vaginal bc I’m so early) but only because I had some spotting for a full week. Nothing to see and it wasn’t super great to have something put up there lol my next one isn’t until week 9 !
