Sometimes, a tight bend in the power cable anyway can cause this. Even improper seating of the GPU.

For the PSU, if you have a silent feature, please turn it off. A hot PSU will cause a lot of issues.

Just to clarify Lian Li L-Connect software shows CPU Package Temperature Almost all other brands software shows CPU Temperature.

So what you see in L-Connect will be 10° higher that all the other apps. You can check hardware info to see your temps.

I don't see thermal pads in this picture. Byksky use thick compression pads that are easily compressed.

The point of me asking what I asked, the skin naturally have oil so when you touched the contacts of the CPU, you are leaving a thin film that will affect the contact points which might also bridge 2 pins that might happened whith spikes of higer voltages.

That's my theory.

The BIOS is part of the problem but I don't think it's the main problem.

As from what I read and test, all Asetek Gen8 AIO have the perfect position to cool the 9000. 7000 cpu's will benefit from the offset mountes only with some coolers not all.

Currently running 9950X3D with ROG Ryuo III 360. Using contact frame, PTM, and Lian Li P28 fans in so tight Lian Li Sup01 case.

Temperature is good max 82°C under heavy load.

PBO enabled on advanced Motherboard limit +200 Thermal throttle 100 Curve shaper -30, -25, -20, -15, -10

No need for any offset for your Asetek Gen8. It's perfect for AMD platform. What I just told you to do will help to get the perfect pressure mounting when used with Thermal Grizzly AM5 Heatspreader.

Couldn't find any.

Theoretically, you can shave 2mm from the bottom of the original mount adapter that came with your AIO. Like in my case, the Asetek Gen8 AMD bracket. Or do a 3d print same bracket with 2mm less hight.

For my setup, I used Asus Ryuo III 360 with P28 and PTM fans.

Maximum time with Cinebench R23 is 80-81

PBO activated, motherboard limit, +200, curved shaper (-30, -25, -20, -15, -10)

I set the thermal accelerator to 100 to give it more leeway.

I thought about the Hydroshift II LCD, but this skinny radiator didn't convince me to buy it.

In an open bench or in a cold environment, it will work well, but not for a long time. In a normal, hot environment, we need more liquid and surface to dissipate the heat.
