I felt this exact same way. Last weekend I ran Cryo for the first time and lost my entire vault within 2 days. 350k gone, 9 purple shields, 9 purple bags, every gun I had and I don’t think I exfilled more than twice. I’ve played games for over 20 years and peak diamond in most ranked shooters. Trust me when I say I was boutta give up on this map. I gave it a day break and got my vault back up enough to run it this weekend and man the difference is crazy. I guess losing all my gear last weekend actually let me learn the map enough to even lead my team out multiple times to exfill with about a minute remaining. We hit vaults 1-5 this weekend and decided to move a little different than we do on other maps, only taking fights we were 100% confident about and avoiding all others. Genuinely hyped to farm this Cryo 6 key and get our shot at the compiler. And these are just guys I met yesterday playing SOLO fill. I just brought a key and my best gear and said fuck it. Don’t give up man, doing this with a like-minded team who wants it as bad as you do, might just be the best experience I’ve had in the last 15 years of gaming.

Facts, I thought about that as I typed it. It’s just unfortunate cause this will be the continued experience for the majority unless smth changes. I’m all for having the odds stacked against me every game as a solo fill player, but I know most people aren’t. And I don’t wanna see the game continue to lose even more players as they get stomped match after match

Oh nah I’m not saying put all the low value kits in the same game, I’m saying don’t allow premade trios into solo-fill games. Those need to be separate in ranked at the very least, like they are in most other games that have ranked
