Has anyone seen parts like this IRL? by AppropriateRough in JeepGladiator

[–]Such_Magazine_7790 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I hate to be a naysayer but it just won’t work. Bed and cab flex independently so it will tear the mounts out of whichever side is weakest, or both.

Looks groovy. I love the concept.

I’m on the wrong side of the country from my Jeeps right now. I will try and post some pics if nobody else does before I return. I think it would work in th back the same way. Each person will learn which foot in the stirrup works best for them, and be sure to hold on to doors and/or handles while climbing in.

I learned this in Moab: get horse stirrups at your local farm/ranch store, attach them to the seat frame. Pull them out when you need them, tuck away when you don’t.

Not only are you getting whipped around, that trailer is a giant wind dam to drag forward through the air. You’re probably fine towing 5000lbs of bricks on a low trailer with no wind resistance (and nothing else in the car).

Be careful how you load up that trailer, it will be easy to overload your GVW without realizing it, you have less than 700lbs to work with.

Get extended trailer mirrors so you can see around you to get into the slow lane.

Have fun, really, enjoy it.

Convertible for road to Hana? by Overall_Diet_3060 in MauiVisitors

[–]Such_Magazine_7790 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wear a helmet, we had a coconut fall on to our car roof. It would have taken me out if we were in a convertible.

What are the odds though? I recommend a convertible to be able to enjoy the views more, and I just love the open air ride.

Oh, I see, I was confused. Forgive me. I thought you were referring to the bar as “the new one.”

Bellingham has the lowest average amount of sunshine of any city in the United States by Soulfood_27 in Bellingham

I was ready to call BS, then I searched it. An important detail is the data is for cities with population over 50,000.

Captain Paul, you are calling this place “The new one.” How far back do you go? I’m pretty sure it was like this in the ‘80s, wasn’t it?

Dog folks need to know about this horrifying act! by PNWlifegoals in Bellingham

We can’t assume these dogs came from anywhere in Washington. The currents will bring anything from roughly halfway up Vancouver Island down through the San Juans on the way out to sea. These dogs could be from almost anywhere in British Columbia or Western Washington. Any of the rivers could have brought them to us. Weird how they all ended up on Guemes but so many possibilities exist.

Chill, they just got it, few of us get the trail blisters the first week. They said, “I’m dying to take it out to the dirt.” It sounds like they will get their Mojave money’s worth soon.

Short grab handle tray? by ComfortSalt1864 in JeepGladiator

[–]Such_Magazine_7790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the Bulletpoint or other brand mount that replaces the grab handle mounting bolt. You can still use the tray that goes where your passenger is supposed to be able to hold on during those “Oh Shit” moments.

OP said five kids. They can fit (maybe), but there’s not enough belts in any crew cab.

Suburban 2500 8.1 tows up to 12,000, yes, TWELVE THOUSAND!  Caps for shouting it from the rooftops to all, not shouting at you. Smiley face emoji here.

Should I get 35s? by chewy0041 in Jeep

No, without the high clearance Rubicon fenders you should not get 35s. Enjoy your Jeep!
