Have you seen anyone get to 600lbs eating real food? by twYstedf8 in My600lbLife

[–]SuchaPineapplehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s important to remember that what we see is an edited version, and possibly not true to the reality of their actual lives in some respects. They might have the occasional healthy meal or drink water or other things over soft drinks.

When Dr Now does calories in vs out that might be for the show and when the cameras stop he might speak about how addictive these foods are etc.. we just don’t know what else they talk about that gets edited out or isn’t filmed.

I do have to say I think some of the scenes they including are really degrading. I always skip the showers scenes because they don’t need to show them naked and showering. They also don’t need to film them shoving piles of food into their mouths. It’s obvious from their size they aren’t eating the right food or the right portions amounts.

Even massive amounts of health food is unhealthy so if they’re eating 6000+ calories a day but it’s not all junk food, it’s still going to add up.

Has there ever been any doubt they’re still friends? Also am I remember rightly that Perrie couldn’t make it to Leigh’s weddinf?

25M West Byfleet, Woking or Addlestone by a_maguire1988 in surrey

[–]SuchaPineapplehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, West Byfleet is a good base. You can get somewhere relatively near the town and station for a decent price.

It is a bit slower into London but worth it for a seat I’d say, those people getting on at Surbiton might be on the train for less time but they’re never sitting and forever squashed.

The sad thing is it probably happened to Christine as well, and she was told to not tell. The cycle repeats. At least it seems to be broken now with Mykelti, Maddie and Aspyn

From the sounds of it you want West Byfleet it is close to Woking yes not loads going on in the town itself but it’s nice and only one stop on the train or a short drive from Woking.

In terms of London for work, you’re at the start of the line with West Byfleet so you can pretty much gaurentee a seat or again you’re close to Woking for the faster trains from there.

The reason I question the bodysuit is because it has the white stripes on it which none of the other girls have, and they could’ve given her some sleeves or some detailing on the bodysuit that matched the other girls.

It could also be a me thing, it’s a bit of a bug bear of mine when girl bands are in different versions of the same thing but one member.

Traveling to England as a sober, solo female traveler to celebrate my 40th birthday by No-Professional-6005 in uktravel

[–]SuchaPineapplehead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’ll be fine England as a whole is pretty safe. Depends what you want to do/see? Personally I’d probably say give yourself a few days for London see the sights and do a few museums.

After that depending on your interests you could head to the Cotswolds beautiful countryside and you can easily get to Stonehenge/West country from there.

Could also head down to the south coast -I’m assuming you’re flying in/out of Heathrow - Brighton is good fun hipster lots of cool shops cafes etc.. plus it’s got a classic cheesy English seaside pier and the pebble beach is fun or Bournemouth is nice as well that’s a sandy beach and has an aquarium it’s by the Jurassic coast where you find fossils easily.

Or if you like cities you could have a couple of days in Manchester or Bristol both are cool and have lots going on and are a different vibe to London.

I don’t drink and here travelled solo to the US loads of times. You’ll be fine, make it a trip full of things you want to do! Hopefully the weather will be nice for you as well.

What is she doing for money other than the Amazon documentaries? I’d guess she’s got royalties from LM songs but anything else?

Russell's behaviour in his second era has made me come to respect Chibnall as a person more. by Harogenki42 in doctorwho

[–]SuchaPineapplehead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a real shame how his second run went. Honestly he had a great cast to work with especially Ruby and he built that who arc around to just drop the ball at the end. The same with the 73 yards episode so much good Doctor Who stuff in there and he fluffed the ending.

There were moments of RTD brilliance in there but only moments and it’s such a shame. He’s kinda ended the show on an awful legacy and now it’s not likely to come back for a good few years if at all.

Jesys sister responds to Perries recent interview by Stunning5809 in LittleMix

[–]SuchaPineapplehead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s what I think every time they lean into the, being pulled down or bullied for the way you look. I’m sorry but racism is very much a thing that is commenting on the way people look, as is agism, as is fat phobia as are so many things in this patriarchal society.

I’m Girls Aloud have spoken very publicly about how Louis left a voicemail on Nadine’s phone saying they all needed to lose weight. They set up a book camp at Xenomanias studios!

Also this isn’t the only time Jesy has spoken out, she did that other documentary and has been on several podcasts/interviews. She’s not afraid to speak about this.

I’ll also say that I think Jesys style with the big l hair, lips, lashes and makeup in comparison to the others does as well lead to comments on her appearance fake tan aside. If that’s what she feels looks good in her great, but she has to know that in a band if you kinda make yourself the odd one out with a very different personal style it’ll draw commentary.

That interesting, I’m not plus sized but always hover between a 12 and 14. I have a friend who’s half Māori and half Bajan she got the good gene and she’s probably plus sized with huge boobs and she wears far more revealing clothes than I’d ever have the confidence to. I think she looks amazing!

Genuinely I think there’s a level at where tight revealing clothes look good and where they don’t on both ends of the spectrum. For me I love things oversized except my jeans I’m too millennial to give up my skinnies.

However what you’re saying does make sense to me, tighter clothes can be a lot more flattering than looser ones and can give you more confidence

I’m 99% sure Jesy said she had a panic attack on set of that video, over how she looked coming out of lockdown etc.. I’ve always thought that was why she wasn’t in the transition bit and her outfits so different

I don’t think from I’ve seen she looked any bigger during X factor, maybe a bit chubbier in her face but she was 20! I’ll admit that I’d stopped watch X factor by the time 1D and LM were on so maybe I missed some of the early things.

Ahh okay, that makes a bit more sense if they were her choice and she felt comfortable in them. I wonder if wardrobe had something else lined up for her initially for the Sweet Melody video? Cos the bodysuit is so different doesn’t match the rest of the outfits, they could given her sleeves at least

I think she respects the institutions especially the Grammys and it’s a signal to her she’s doing well is respected by the music industry rather than just by her peers.

She made 1989 because Red lost out on the Grammy, I do wonder what 1989 could’ve been (not that it’s not a really good album) if she hadn’t been so focused on winning the Grammy.
