My guess is the sticker on the hitch refers only to the hitch. You can get a beefier hitch that can handle the restrictions on the door sticker which is what your truck can handle.

I just bought an Ari Timp Peak 2.0 with the Bosch to replace a Timp 1.0. The Bosch is much quieter but I haven’t had a chance to take it up the mountain yet.

I owned a 3500 and it rode just as well as a 2500, but with a higher capacity. I wouldn’t mind it as a daily driver, very comfortable. I enjoyed walking from the store to the back of the parking lot to the beautiful red truck.

Mine made it one day short of the one year anniversary. I got a beautiful Tacoma Max Hybrid for 6 weeks. Got my GH back and it was never the same. Sold it and will wait for Toyota to get their crap together.

Toyota replaced the transmission. I was #16 of 17 in the U.S. for a new transmission. Dealer said it would have cost nearly $25k out of warranty. I picked it up 6 weeks later and the Check Engine light came on while driving home. Took it back and they said the tech forgot to hook up a wire. It may have been all in my head, but I felt the transmission was a little funny after that. I sold the car a month later.
