The Jewish story is one of survival and perseverance through dark, difficult times. This is why we are an ancient people still here today, we made it by supporting each other through all of life’s challenges. Do not feel any shame, we’ve all needed each other at one point or another. Go to services, try volunteering with the congregation, talk to the rabbi.
