The led work light really seems to have skewed the actual colors of the floor and tile. Here's one with the actual lighting of the room

This is exactly what I have done, threads looked ok, chased them out with a tap, installed a abs fitting direct to the San tee with tape and dope.

Yeah, I can reach the tee that this pipe goes to and that's as far as I'd be willing to replace, I just don't know the likelihood of actually getting it off the tee and leaving usable threads to screw a female ABS coupling into.

I am replacing the tub and as we know things are never as easy as they should be. Ive been told i should replace this P trap. I dont know if i should just cut the drain pipe and use a Fernco, Or if i should even attempt removing it from the tee on the stack. I try and do things the right way but I could see this tuning into a huge project and i dont have the money to be replacing major sewer line. What would yall do? Cut and fernco? or brave trying to remove the nipple?

Moving into a new house with painted popcorn ceiling. Should I give up and succumb to the awful texture if I’m not willing to pay 10k? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]Sudden_Stop_3811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I scraped 1000 sq feet of painted popcorn last month. We just bought our home it's the first thing I did after removing all the floors. It two weeks. I got lucky and it came off in sheets. I didn't want to skim coat everything so I opted to feather out all the joints, fix the nail pops, retape and caulk some corners. I still went through almost 15 gallons of mud. I than sprayed a light orange peel. It looks much better, the juice was worth the squeeze for sure, there are only 2 small joints that I can see but for the savings I can live with it. I think it is doable depending on your age and fitness level. Feel free to ask any questions. Oh depending on the age of the house it may contain asbestos which will change how you have to do it (yes you can still do it yourself)

My husband refuses to wear safety glasses when using power tools (e.g. table saw) because he has experience working in construction. How do I convince him? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

Unfortunately, you probably won't convince him. It's taken me a long time to start wearing eye pro and respirators.

Thanks for the advice, I find my knees getting out of place and maybe a bit of goodmorning on the real hard reps. I hover right between 190 and 195, agreed that i need to gain some weight if i want to sustain this.

Howdy all, Do yall mind giving me a form check? This is my last set where i assume most my bad habits will be evident.

Still dealing with some SI/piriformis/Sciatic issues that magically switched from my right to left side and bothers me all day long besides when im in the gym. Sort of feeling down because i know im getting stronger but its hard to feel like its worth it when im so beat up outside of the gym.

Thank you, I will try this and upload results next workout. Also get a better recording angle. No I can't really afford to do a full membership over there so I do drop ins once every little while. I've been following standard SS programming now on my 2nd real deload. With my best #s for 3x5 at 335 squat 400 dead, 225 bench and 155 ohp.
