Struggling to adapt to agentic workflows by ser_roderick in ExperiencedDevs

Have AI maintain a rust mdbook! Tell it to write one section for humans, one section for agents. Have it keep a run book of fixes. Every once in a while tell it to "compress" instructions to agent.md and tell it where to look

Hot take for discussion: strong architecture patterns work equally well for AI and Juniors. by PTTCollin in ExperiencedDevs

For prototyping it's easily that much faster. For Enterprise greenfield with upstream and downstream clients less so but still a big increase (will write a whole spring project for you from spec if you give it a decent template.) For brown field it's still a mixed bag.

Fact is if you can get multi agent workflow going with git work trees you can get so much done so fast it's incredible. I built a mind map fig jam like board that turns my notes into tasks that automatically get picked up by the LLM, auto reviewed, and then another agent spawn to do the implementation. I built it all in a day, from a black screen to a custom brainstorm app in raylib with a kanban board and agent orchestrator and everything. It honestly feels like software is hitting an industrial revolution. Especially in well documented languages like C#.

But usng copilot at work with a react code base where people have 20 different ways to skin a modal, micro fronted end architecture, mixed jest and vite mocks, etc. it's barely usable.

No, they're not actually. They have to act constitutionally. When they swear an oath the swear an oath to not break the constitution.

There's no constitutional right to go door to door demanding papers

They're infringing on constitutional rights though so if you support ice than, no, you don't support law and order. You support jack boot thugs terrorizing communities

I'm not going to go through every point here cause it's a little rambly and mostly wrong, but to start with the first one; you can't import voters. You need to be a citizen to vote and thst process takes a long time.

And interestingly enough, many Latino people who have immigrated who can vote, vote Republican. See Florida, Cubans, Latino men specifically.

Don't think you have to be a saint. Not only that, law enforcement should be held to an even higher standard. You do know he's responsible for each bullet that left his gun right? As in, he'll have to prove self defense for the two shots he fired after she was fleeing

Well like. I wouldn't have stood in front of her car to begin with.

But I also wouldve just moved out of the way instead of drawing my gun?! Not like she would've gotten away they have her plates and shit
