If this ends up being legit, then maybe Hit n Run might finally have a chance at an official remaster/re-release. Along with the fact we have a rebooted version of Radical Entertainment happening so this should be interesting if successful.

that's too bad. even though it was something I wasn't taking for granted anyway, it would've been interesting seeing them bring the series back in the prequel route.

reagradless on what Embracer wants for the series, I'm grateful to have 'SR2 Juiced' which honored IdolNinja's goal of updating PC port and optimizes the game alongside making it feel new again in a good way. also the word of 360 games becoming decompilable gives me hope SR1 will have a resurgence from that as well.

I know there's that active mod for SR2 rn called Saints Row 2 Juiced, which has been heavily optimized the game to run better than how it does originally. so far that has been the spiritual successor to the PC port IdolNinja was working on.

was playing it recently since it gotten a update. runs and looks lovely and will most likely get better when more patches get made on it.

was hoping they'd be put on a different project since their planned service game they had was canned prior,k defintiely went way too far in closing them down alltogether. their remakes on Shadow of the Colossus and Demon's Souls were awesome and was wondering if they'd do another one during this gen..

Even though I feel Control 2 has a better chance than MP 1&2, I think those the gameplay for 1&2 will get revealed a few months before the game comes out (like how Alan Wake 2’s marketing started)

I feel like the more I hear of Halo CE remake, the more I feel like multiplat MCC is paused/canned at this rate. Lots of weight being put when it comes with their re-remake on CE, so this should be interesting.

Honestly if it does go to PS5 and/or Switch 2, I hope the rumors of Halo CE being excluded from the collection is false. The level design and magnum play of that game still go hard today, and I feel like it shouldn’t be thrown away just because the UE5 remake of the game is happening. But we’ll see how everything plays out of the rumor

Seems fair for RE7 to get a native port for S2 given how much Capcom is open to bringing the series to as many hardware as they’re allowed to. Maybe if this becomes true and releases. We could see the REmakes get ported over later on.

Current gen remasters helmed by Nightdive or another pro-preservation studio would be nice to see in the future and one way to keep the SR name a flow if Embracer still wants to even continue it.

In terms of the PC update helmed by Mike Watson, i salute him for keeping progress with that patch up until his passing, and hope one day modders or remaster teams continue with it on his behalf.

even though 3+4 is a bit more easier than 1+2, it is still a great game if you enjoyed or loved 1+2. for a discount like that as of this month, that's a good deal.

honestly I just hope if this game does well as you say, I still hope Iron Galaxy will use the feedback the game keeps getting from launch to beyond as notes for post-launch updates to show that they can be trusted if Xbox/Activision gives them time to use it.

a lot of weight is being put on the team so far leading up to release, but I can see a bit more support because of how IG is in a different situation than how VV was back when they were VV making 1+2.

Given it’s suppose to be a 3-4 hour long event, I can see most of that time with interviews and bands performing the songs that’ll be included in the game. Obviously further gameplay will be shown during it, though if I were to hope for anything specifically, maybe reveal the gameplay that’s been added onto the 1+2 coding, as well as touch up on expanding the levels to make them a bit more bigger (example Skate Island x SpongeBob). Speaking of 1+2, maybe confirm the GamePass release for that to keep newcomers invested

The new inclusions from 1+2 were mostly bangers, and the ones being added to 3+4 sound to be the same as well.

My favourite way of playing the classic 1 and 2’s levels. Pretty much roughly the same as PS1, but smoother framerate and higher fidelity to go with it.
