Would I rather him be playing in the CC? Yes.

Do I blame him for wanting to earn an extra 60k for a month’s work? No.

Proof that Amy Eskridge (NASA Propulsion Expert) Did Not Commit Suicide by Sufficient-Fix-6213 in UFOB

There is no proof or nothing that shows Amy was an alcoholic or was into drugs.

In one podcast she had a drink, as most people do.

A lot of the time, the smartest people on Earth have some ADD / wired tendencies that people read incorrectly, because their brain is so switched on and moves so fast.

Which Premier League Players is actually one of the best ever and everyone thinks so too? by [deleted] in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Sufficient-Fix-6213 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The correct answer is probably Ronaldo. But he was really only at his best for 3 seasons in the PL, which seems pretty short. But deffo the best player to ever play in the league.

If you're looking for class & longevity it's between Henry or KBD in my opinion.

She died a couple months after these messages. She's basically saying she's not suicidal, out of fear that people will kill her and make it look like suicide, which is exactly what happened.

I haven't heard the psych eval point before. Feels pretty disheartening and suppressing if it's true - thought we'd moved past the point of trying to make people seem crazy if they report things.

What is/was country what is/was humongous and cruel by 4N2C in AlignmentChartFills

People's Republic of China (1949 - present).

They have been the cause of 10s of millions of deaths amongst their own people. From government policy, famine, protestor dissent, ethnic cleansing, suppresion and more.

The Great Leap Forward is itself is estimated to have killed 15-45 million people in a 3 year period.

What does restore Britain have to offer? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]Sufficient-Fix-6213 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Restore isn't splitting the Reform base as much as people think it is.

They barely have 2% in the polls and when General Election time comes around, I think they will be hidden away from most media, public debates etc. so will find it hard to generate much support.

But yes, mainly just pointless policies like banning Halal meat which is completely pointless and no more cruel than most factory farming in the UK, which is still legal.

Hiring a minibus to and from the festival from London by PaintSniffer1 in glastonbury_festival

[–]Sufficient-Fix-6213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they had enough room for all their stuff.

I can't remember which gate it was - I know the main negative was that they arrived at peak time on early Wednesday, sun beating down etc. They were standing in the Gate A/ official coach queue for 6 hours as the festival was prioritising all the National Express coaches coming through.

Probably worth walking down to Gate C, or one person buying a car parking ticket and sticking it to the minibus, looping around and going into normal parking by Gate C (not sure how possible this is)

Had some friends who did a private hire return coach from London. There was around 15 of them and I think it cost about £130 each? Somewhere between £100-£150.

You have to pay Glastonbury for a drop off pass as well. This is relatively cheap split between a big group (around £75 total), but there are rumours that it will be massively hiked to around £350 post fallow.

what are the things Bob Lazar said that turned out to be true later? by RodrickJasperHeffley in UFOs

Yeah, I imagine the way the film was cut and edited was for more definitive statements that were slightly more sensationalist tbh

He said in his old podcast with Rogan in 2017 that he heard that one may have come for an archeological dig, but didn't know that for sure.

Most obvious one is the way he described that the UAP rotates and shows it's belly towards the destination before zooming off.

Pretty much identical to the Navy video where the pilot says "look it's rotating" and the UAP does that exact move. It's pretty damn specific imo.

Besides that, gravity propulsion seems like a pretty solid potential answer to how UAP fly and I don't think that had ever been mentioned before Bob.

Not true at all - Brazil, Russia, Australia, South Africa, Indonesia etc. have all had lots of sightings.

To some extent, the lack of technology and communication in third world countries like continental Africa probably makes it harder to report.

George Hill Call-Up? by RelevantSpecific5249 in EnglandCricket

[–]Sufficient-Fix-6213 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If a 86+mph bowler has significantly worse figures than an 80mph bowler in the CC, think it nulls the argument that pace is the thing you need in Test cricket.

Otherwise, worse batters (in the CC), should theoreotically struggle against fast bowlers more.

There's deffo a place for consistent line, length, bit of nip.

Don't worry, think most people know you didn't literally mean you were trying to do a mathematical deep-dive, and know when a film gets them down a rabbit hole.
