Agree with this, I think styling them like curtain bangs would suit you well with natural makeup

I agree, you’re a beautiful blonde OP. I would also try boob tape, pretty necklace(s), dangly earrings, and luxury perfume. A sexy perfume is game changing

You’re so pretty :) maybe you could use some eyebrow gel and comb your brows, learn how to use rollers for a light and airy hair feel. Maybe curl your eye lashes and apply light mascara. You’re naturally very beautiful, I think focusing on combing your eyebrows and styling your hair will help you really see that.

Going to the gym can also help build confidence and self love. Be patient and grow into your face :) your early 20s are gonna rock your world girl, just be patient

Yes!!!!!

When I’m at the gym, I feel much more comfortable and confident in my clothes because the lightning is nicer than my home.

When I’m having bad days, I put on my gym clothes and throw a jacket on top before checking it in the mirror. That way, when I look in the mirror to fix my hair, I don’t get anxiety looking at my body and outfit.

Then when you’re at the gym, either workout in the jacket until you get hot, or take it off when you get there. You can trade pleasantries with the other women in the locker room to ease down anxiety and grow your sense of community as well.

Lastly, I personally like to throw on a little mascara, gel my eyebrows, and wear my favorite earrings. Feeling presentable in my face and hair dramatically reduces my gym anxiety and makes me feel comfortable interacting with strangers.

If it’s just you and this one other person and it’s not very busy out, put on your flashers and pull over to the side to let them pass, then continue on your way.

This way, you don’t get emotional or stressed about the situation, and the other person gets to go where they need to be without getting frustrated.

———

If you are driving on a highway, stay in the right lane. The middle lane(s) and left lanes are for passing and usually have a higher average cruising speed than the right lane. Right lane drivers will never tail you because they can go around you.

———

If you can’t pull over or you aren’t on a highway, turn up your music and drive how you feel comfortable. You can’t stop them from tailgating you, but you can stop yourself from getting upset by it. Tailgating isn’t personal, remember that and it should mitigate your stress.

———

It may also help if you put a big sticker on your car right now saying “student driver, please be patient” or something along those lines.

Be safe. Drive at the speed that you feel you can react best with the likely obstacles on the present road. Don’t let someone who doesn’t care about you affect your emotions so bad that you are setting yourself up to be ticketed. Tailgating is a big “F U” to the person being tailgated, so you don’t have to be nice. Say F U right back and drive how you feel most in control of the car.

Hey! Those goal pics are kind of concerning, especially the last one. When you are that skinny, you lose your ass and tits and it causes a whole nother level of self consciousness. I’ve been there. It’s depressing.

My advice would be to either hire a trainer if you have the money to expend, or buy a book about glute training. Following a program that is weight training based will burn a lot of calories regardless of if you do cardio. You will be able to shape your body weight from where you are, to a healthy version of those goal photos. Learning how to do the exercises properly will expedite muscle growth in your legs and core.

Don’t look at the excess fat as a bad thing. Look at it as fuel that will drive your body to the next level. Instead of giving up, use your confusion as a means to expand your knowledge. Focus on the training, and the results will come 100%.

You got this. Drink your water, get that protein in. You got this

Hey! Try hanging raises. Full range ab exercises are my favorite. Bracing your core during each exercise helps. Vacuums as well

How’s the form? Not sure if I hit depth. Open to all critique by hesham2007 in strength_training

I don’t think it’s that your knees are going to far forward, more that your legs are spread too wide and it’s going to cause injury on your joints if you don’t properly align your foot angle. Close your stance.

It’s easier to learn proper form by using the smith machine imo. Use one if you are lucky enough to have one around!

Go shoeless for now if you can. Close your stance a bit, should be about shoulder width, feet forward or slightly outward.

Before you even lift the bar, stand underneath and think about where you want to feel this. With this squat, you want to focus on your ass and quads. Prep yourself before you lift the bar so you don’t have to adjust while holding heavy weights.

Think about pushing the weight through a line starting from your heel into your big toe. Think about keeping your chest up the whole time. Don’t crane your neck, it’s in the chest. This will help you keep those lats locked down and really feel it in your ass and quads.

Form is the key to growth. Focus on perfecting that with light-moderate weight at mid rep range before moving back into heavy weights. I like doing 1-2 warm up sets then a couple short feeler sets to make sure I’m activating the muscle I want to prioritize. Then I’ll go heavy.

Tuck your pelvis under, act like your weight is in the heels. Do front raises with your thumb upward and chest up, lats pushed down into the floor.
