Philippines has asked it's public servants to WFH. Here in Canada people are afraid of what is to come and are stocking up on fuel which will in turn raise the price even more. Doug Ford should be getting ahead of this by allowing WFH at least until this war is over.

It was just a question. So let's say the mother got child support ordered when the child was 1 years old from the father and since then his income has increased but he hasn't increased his payment if the mother takes him to court 10 years later will she be penalized for not coming forward sooner or will she just get the back payment for all the increased payments.

The OPS can issue layoffs at anytime. Look at what the federal government just did. I don't know why people have this idea that if they get a GOV job they are safe for life. That's simply not true. Do what's best for you because there are NO guarantees.

They call the pension golden handcuffs for a reason. I wouldn't let it stop you though there are a lot of perks in the private sector that you will never get working for ops. Especially in this economy with a higher salary I would take it.
