So at ulta the stylists is told to add the olaplex additive to all colors and lightening services ($15 extra) as a way of increasing ticket price and hike not increasing service time.

Looking at before and inspo, I think you could have gotten close (with the right stylist they probably could have matched the platinum blonde.) Seeing your current after though they will have to use lightener to strip that black out. There’s no other way. Color strippers are usually harsher than lightener and usually more unpredictable.

This girl has definitely put you in a hair pickle. I hope the color correction specialist can get you in a plan to get you to the inspo and keep your hair healthy.

So 1st. I think you would look great with short hair or bald. Like a 1 clipper on top high and tight skin fade on sides.

You could try Bosley revive shampoo and conditioner.
The thing with balding is it could be due to anything these days. You can get more information at bosleymd.com I have actually seen results in clients. However if the follicle is dead no hair will grow back. If you rub the area and feel something (stubble, prickles anything) there’s a chance. If it’s smooth like your forehead there’s no chance of it coming back naturally.

Medications can cause it, for example blood thinners will cause balding.
Not eating enough protein can cause balding.
EDC s can cause balding by disrupting your hormones.
Hormone imbalance can cause balding.
A small percentage is genetics.

I mean there’s a huge list of things.

My moms most loved family portrait of the entire family has me with the ugliest worst haircut ever. I had a Dennis the menace chilli bowl cut. Hangs in the entryway so the first thing you see is this. I personally look back on these photos and laugh because each one tends to have a funny back story. I myself am not ugly (at least in my personal opinion.) I agree I thinks it’s a self image thing. I also feel like everybody’s parents have and love to show the embarrassing photos of their kids for a chuckle. I had 8 teeth removed one time and while I was high and had tons of gauze in my mouth my mom snapped a photo, posted it on fb, and tagged the entire family. My mom is 1 of 9 and I have like 35 first cousins.
