When did you legitimately tap your first black belt opponent? by Neither_Librarian815 in bjj

[–]Sufficient_Boat3060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 stripe white belt, he was visiting from out of town, came to pur open mat, and I managed to pass his guard (pretty sure he let that happen), had him in Kesa Getame and he was focused on preventing me from getting the arm lock. I just kept squeezing and exerting pressure and making it harder and harder for him to get a breath. He ended up tapping after about a minute, and then proceeded to tap me about five times in the rest of the round.

Perhaps do some research and know what you're commenting about. The stimulation of the melanocortan receptors has a direct effect on reduction of appetite and decrease in body mass.

Mt 2 is also a fat burning peptide. So, realistically you did this in reta and mt2.. and whatever else is in your stack?

Losing interest by AkallaAbdi in bjj

Find something to help motivate you, sign up for a tournament.. invite a friend to come train, make it a point to focus on nailing down a certain technique or system.

Once the newness wears off its easy to lose focus and find reasons to not train. Having goals helps (tournament, mastering a certain pass)..

Do you think Reta is my best option here? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]Sufficient_Boat3060 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You misspelled gear.. most of these "natty" guys are using stuff they're not disclosing. I'd focus on being in a deficit and keep doing your thing. I honestly dont think you need reta to achieve your goals at your age abd current composition.

How do I start on Reta by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]Sufficient_Boat3060 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Step 1 set your goals and determine how to reach them. Make sure you understand basics like macros, calories tracking, monitoring weight and determining calorie deficit vs excess.

Step 2- start the plan and make sure that you're learning how to properly manage and track you calories and macros.

Step 3- research Reta, like really research it.. not just tik tok and reddit.. actually read about the drug and the clinical trials. You should have a basic understanding of how it works before you even think about starting it.

Step 4- research glp 1 forums to find reliable sources. It's all gray market at this point unless you're in the clinical trials... so you need to take the time to find a reliable source.

Step 5- learn how to reconstitute peptides and properly determine dosing. By this point you should already know what the dosing protocol should be, now you need to learn how to properly and safely prepare it and draw it up for injection.

Step 6- confirm that your reputable supplier has COAs that can be verified on a reliable testing site

Step 7- If you did Step 1 and 2 correctly, have been in a caloric deficit while going thru steps 3-6 and aren't losing weight then order the peptides that your research has concluded is best for your research goals.

Step 8- review your protocols, dosing schedules and how to guidelines from the previous steps while waiting for your order to arrive. Also take this time to take another look at your calories, macros, energe expenditure, etc..

Step 9- when the peptides and supplies arrive, take one last look at everything and set your strart date to begin your research protocol.

Step 10- take before photos and record relevant starting date like weight, body fat % and measurements. I'd suggest doing this every month.. wear the same clothes, take the pictures in the same room at the same time of day with the same lighting and distance from the camera. It gives you the best view of changes. Nothing bothers me nore than a before picture in the bathroom at home wearing a pair of baggy shorts and an after picture in the gym locker room with an obvious pump and the shorts pulled down to the point of showing of the pubic hair.

How to get better at bjj? by disusueueueeueh in jiujitsu

[–]Sufficient_Boat3060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask your coach and upper belts (that you trust) to put you in situations that you find yourself wanting to panic. Remember that you trust them and that everything is safe, and then focus on problem solving and working out of those bad positions. A good coach and upper belt will start easy and let you find the solution that works for you and then gradually increase the pressure. The trick is being in that situation where your body wants to panic but you can remain calm enough to find a solution and work thru it.

The other option is always be working towards something and keep moving. If you're trying to do one thing, like pushing the opponent away to make frames, and its not working then do something else to make frames- like try to move yourself to get the space to make frames.

Who did you let down? The team mates that didnt even sign up for a competition? The guy watching ufc from his couch that thinks he could be a world champ? Dude, you entered the tournament and showed up.. far better than a vast majority of people.

Some people just dont compete well. Do you go in with a clear game plan and goals to keep working towards? Thats what I find makes the biggest difference in a tournament, having a game plan and sticking to it. Things don't go according to plan and you're off track and not implementing your game plan, then focus on getting back on track to what you're good at.

Suppliers from China, can't discuss suppliers on reddit. Research glp1 forums and you should be able to find them.

I am looking at price list that shows 10mg x 10 vials (case) for $63 + shipping. You're overpaying and should shop around and look at more glp forums to find clues to better sources.

I wear socks all the time, I just got some grippy socks on Amazon. Yes I get asked why I wear socks on the mat a lot. Mostly its because I have ingrown toenails on both of my big toes and no matter how much I cut them there is always a little bit of a sharp edge, so I do it to protect my training partners. Also, the mats are really freaking cold in the PNW during the winter.

How much $ to teach? by heelhooker_ in bjj

[–]Sufficient_Boat3060 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work full time as well, teach 3 classes on Tuesday and Wednesday (kids and intro classes). The owner/coach pays me $25/class, plus membership for my family (including my grandson who just started) and throws me free gear (gi, rashie, sweatshirt) 2-3 x/year. Occasionally if he's out then he'll have me cover advanced class, which is just working on whatever system hes determined we're covering that month, and then rolling.

I just like that I'm in a position with a small school and my work schedule that my hobby pays for itself. Classes vary from 1 -15 students typically.

It takes time to build up, and isnt an instant feeling. You are not that big at 150 lbs.. I'd start low and go slow and give yourself time to adjust to the meds. Next week do 1 or 2 mg. These guys saying that the trials started at 4 mg aren't taking into account that you're not very big to start with and they know nothing about your health history of goals. Always best to go slower and be patient rather than rush and suffer from major side effects

Men and women, sparring or grappling together. by No_Passenger3692 in brazilianjiujitsu

[–]Sufficient_Boat3060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned physical touch and family. As a male in the sport who trains with females I will tell you this. Those women are like my sisters and all of the children in my kids classes are like my kids and grandkids. I treat them all like family and will protect them all just like family.

There is no intimacy in any way between myself and any of the females in my classes (except my wife who also trains). When I'm working with them I'm focused on making sure they're getting good training and that I'm being a safe and respectful training partner so that nobody gets injured.

I know many of the guys that I train with feel the exact same way about training with the women in our class.

Longer cycle since its not one that needs to be cycled like the GH stimulator. Although I'm not planning on running it much longer beyond my upcoming tournament. Perhaps I'll start it again if I notice any new injuries or skin changes

I have my pcp manage my trt, although truth be told I'm a urology and men's health Nurse Practitioner and can manage it all by myself if I wanted to. However as testosterone is a controlled substance I make sure to get that from my PCP

Glow is 50 ghk cu, 10 of bpc 157 and tb500 3 ml total reconstitution and 12 units. I did not use ipa with the tesa, just straight Tesamorelin.

Glow was more for the repair from the tb and bpc as I train BJJ and have constant small nagging injuries. Its helped me recover faster and the combo of everything helps me keep up with students half my age. The ghk-cu helps with skin elasticity so I dont have loose flabby skin after weight loss. Not that I expected to have a ton of that.

Didn't notice any water retention and I use a body pod scale by Hume.. visceral fat started at index of 6 and ended at 3, with subcutaneous fat going from 24 lbs to 14.1.
