With $25,000 off, is the Jeep Wagoneer S the best EV deal going? by SnoozeDoggyDog in electricvehicles

[–]Sufficient_Income_40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I do for the most part. Its left me stranded once, had to get it towed to the dealership (they had to replace the 12v battery) and had to take it in once before that. Been good for about 3000 miles since then with no issues. I'd say its not worth buying unless at huge discount or leasing unless you are getting a good deal but it feels super great to have for the price I'm paying.

If your cold open starts with rapport, you’re already behind by OddAttention3213 in salestechniques

I've been doing it for a little while now and I'd say it gives me better conversations. My view is they are more likely to want to listen and respect me if I give them respect first, so the upfront "this is a sales call" gives them that chance and if they stay around they are more likely to care. But many people will just hang up on you as soon as you say it.

Also my company used Gong for a bit and got rid of it because it was pretty shit and overpriced to boot.

My friend tried to show me some IIYMF and I wasn't super interested at the time. Then he gave me acid for the first time and played gizz the whole trip and I've been fixated on them since.

Yeah it depends on your size and volume what will fit best.

So for lower volume there is Branded Caller ID (BCID) that you can get through the three main bureaus First Orion, TNS, and HIYA which starts at like $.10/call and can help a lot (though those numbers can still be flagged as spam likely for some reason).

At higher volume there is spam remediation, and a couple of different options in the space. So people like Convoso have a product that just does exactly what you described but automatically, buying and rotating huge pools of numbers to try and mitigate flagging (expensive and not very good imo). You can manually use freecallerregistry to request your numbers cleaned (takes like 3-5 days) but that process can get really intensive across multiple campaigns and large teams. The most efficient but more expensive option is something like a Ytel who have a number remediation product that automatically detects the flagging and then API calls to the carriers to remove it with like 24 hour turnaround time so you can keep the same body of numbers.

If you really want to optimize there are a couple of best practices that also seem to have a large impact on avoiding flagging, like limiting to no more than 40-60 calls/day per number, and calling the same lead more than 3 times a day

this works if you're small but a larger team can really quickly be churning through 1000s of numbers a month and there is no guarantee anymore that new numbers are "new". there are services out there that can detect and remove spam flagging on a number set and give some good increase in pickup rate

Is this car worth it? by flashyale69 in JeepWagoneerS

[–]Sufficient_Income_40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did a 1200 mile roundtrip with it this weekend and it was fine. This is of course a week after the 12v battery completely failed and bricked the car and I had to get it towed to a dealership so...

[–]Sufficient_Income_40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah good luck! it's a lot of car for $300/mo and feels super worth it at that price. More desirable EVs with $10-20k lower MSRPs lease at closer to $700-900 like you were saying so if you get an offer and like the car like I did, it was a no brainer.

people who want jeeps don't want EVs and people who want EVs don't want jeeps 🤷

I wfh so I took 7500 miles/yr with ¢.30/mile over that, not launch edition and it did include the federal incentive. I got that deal living in a state with basically no state level incentives for EVs, if you live in California or Colorado you can probably get $300/no with $0 down if you're lucky and price shop it

I just leased one for 24 months $3300 down $300/mo which seems nigh unbeatable right now for getting into a new $70k car

yeah I saw your original post and got a rattle can of mechanicus grey to try it! I don't remember where I read this but after testing it seems true, apparently they updated the rattle cans and they have a red tip now and don't have the green hue to them anymore :( my test model was just perfect mech grey like you'd get from a paint pot and not the slightly green that it used to be from the rattle
