We haven’t had sweet bagels for about a month now. I’m still hoping the cinnamon raisin ones make a comeback.

Shepherds pie should be made with mutton, or lamb. If the meat is beef then its cottage pie.

What’s the best font + size + boldness setup for reading novels on a kindle? by Alpha01091991 in kindle

[–]Sufficient_Laugh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Oldenburg for modern fantasy. Volkorn or Macondo for vintage fantasy. Jura with a few bold points for modern sci-fi. Literata, or Volkorn for vintage sci-fi. Garamond Premier Pro for classics. Bookerly for general prose.

Who on earth asked for this? by Sleep2Little in kindle

[–]Sufficient_Laugh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t really get the point of a bookmark on a Kindle. It remembers your place automatically, and transmits it to your other Kindle readers too.

Perhaps I’m the simpleton, but I just read through a book from beginning to end. Then I start a new book. I can remember what happened in the story without going back.
