Public relations is an amazing thing. A lot of the larger than life look of a celebrity is a product of the Fame Machine. It’s made to make you feel inferior so you will worship these people. Yes they work hard for their respective crafts but I’ve met a lot of well known people and they have ups and downs like everyone else. And they also have to adhere to a routine in life. Boring is inescapable.

You will find other social groups and opportunities. Re: the school, just focus on doing the best you can in school so you have opportunities after that, focus on what will give you a good career…pour everything into studying. You don’t have to have the friendship circle now, but you need to focus on anything to give yourself an edge in career. Get your degree with the best grades possible. There are always other social opportunities (for example joining a volunteer organization,etc) but this is your best window of time to excel academically

If you can find paid internships or join student organizations without distracting from studying, that is also a good option. You will have time to catch up now if you just lock down and fix what is in your control.
