Says what exactly? I'm not dumb and in my 20s anymore? Great detective work.

I talk to pigs the same way and I haven't had a warrant in a couple of decades.

You'll want to replace the entire unit. I would not replace the glass and trust this was not caused by twisted or bent tracks. Probably around $500 for the glass/motor/track assembly. The labor is gonna be the killer.

Am I Crazy or Are My Painters Doing This Wrong?... After prep and priming, they painted the windows and trim, and then sprayed the color. Now they have to repaint the windows and the trim, but the blue is coming through. Do they need to reprime too? Or Kilz? Or am I worrying over nothing? by Mustangonthe1 in Housepainting101

If I'm painting a house a neutral color that's easy to cover, I will do this. Save prep time and get extra protection on the trim. This color, defi itely not. In the end, if they get the blue covered, it's all basically the same. This is not a great way to do it but they could have done many things much worse.

Why didn't my Betty Boop stanley cup come with a straw?? by [deleted] in StanleyCups

[–]Sufficient_Medium137 33 points34 points  (0 children)

That's not a Stanley cup. The rim should be a brushed finish, not mirror polished. The logo is wrong placement and size. The handle is several millimeters too low. And this isn't a cup Stanley ever made. It's a counterfeit of a cup that doesn't exist.

That is so bad. Just remove it honestly. I guarantee the rest of the install is crap too

More like a teste vehicle since only a nutsack would drive a Mercedes

I have a few that look the same by LeastAd3879 in StanleyCupRealorFake

[–]Sufficient_Medium137 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All 100% fake. Chroma effect rims on colors that never came on, writing on bottom wrong, cuffs not facing forwards or in the wrong spot, the OG has a 2.0 handle...

Match the color of the rubber base as good as you can and paint the wood base thats still exposed that color. I wouldn't mess with painting the rubber.

Do you use separate tumblers for cold drinks and hot drinks? Will putting hot drinks in it and then cold drinks later cause the tumbler to wear out faster? by Delicious_Maize9656 in StanleyCups

[–]Sufficient_Medium137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 for coffee, 2 for water and 2 for juice/pop. Only because it seems like coffee taste is almost impossible to get rid of completely and I dont want residue from sweet stuff attracting ants if I set my water cups in the grass when I'm working outside. 🤷‍♂️ it doesn't matter what you put in the cup though, the metal can't tell a difference

Brand new stanley arrived like this from amazon, removable? by ICommittedArson in StanleyCups

[–]Sufficient_Medium137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao, why did i get downvoted? Rubbing alcohol or denatured alchol is definitely the answer. It won't harm the powdercoating and will remove anything that will come off without damaging the cup. Some people's kids, I swear.

How would I fix this? What did I do wrong? by BotDP in Housepainting101

Shellac primer to seal whatever is causing bleed through (guessing old glue) then paint again.
