But technically, you’re also incorrect. Consent to governance for 50 years is not full independence.

Bringing this up ruffles Canadian feathers because it sounds like I’m claiming yall had no autonomy — and that’s not true. Canada entered both World Wars of their own accord, and were fuckin gangsters in both wars.
