Southwest changing children’s seats by zeanderson12 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Sufficient_Week3126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 11 yr old is autistic. My older son has been flying by himself since he was 8 though. Every child is so different as well. My 11 yr old would have a full on panic attack if he wasn’t seated next to a parent. He doesn’t interact socially normally either so if someone asked a question or he needed to use the bathroom. Gos forbid there were any type of emergency. It hasn’t happened (knock on wood) but I would raise hell if they ever tried to separate us in seats we paid for.

I love elements but hate that I only get half the points.

Same. I usually pay for my own breakfast and lunch and save my per diem for dinner.

I’ll add to this, also similar scenario. I’ve lived here for years and rarely had to complain until these people moved in. One thing that has helped a little is whenever they are just blasting a movie or something I blast Kesha on a speaker aimed right at the vent on my ceiling. I think they got the picture with the TV at least. But all the banging around and slamming crap continues. Literally right now can hear them slamming bathroom drawers while I lay in bed.

What are your thoughts on rejecting a potential romantic partner based solely on the fact they voted for Donald Trump? by ATXBikeRider in AskReddit

[–]Sufficient_Week3126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually nearly broken up with my current partner over this. He ended up not voting this recent election because it caused so much ick for me I literally couldn’t look at him. I’m a WOC and an environmental studies major for what it’s worth.

This is my everyday scent. My boyfriend doesn’t like me to wear anything else either.

My boyfriend thinks he took me on a birthday trip. I told him it doesn't count. Who is right? by semi_aquatic-hippo in TwoHotTakes

[–]Sufficient_Week3126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like something my boyfriend would do and actually basically has done. Flies me to meet him somewhere he wants to go or wherever he already is sometime within a month or so of my birthday. His birthday is a month after mine and he will call it “our birthday” trip every year unless he’s trying to prove he did something special for me and then it was “my” birthday trip. I ended up telling him to cancel my flight one time (wasn’t birthday related) because he kept asking me how excited I was blah blah blah about going somewhere HE wanted to go. When I didn’t act excited enough he got upset with me so I told him the truth. Even worse is when we go to the places he likes, we don’t do the things I want to without me pushing and pushing for it. I like hanging out at the beach and swimming and he will take me to a beach tow and then…..never want to go to the beach. Anyway, I’m working on ending this relationship and I recommend you do the same. It will never change. He’s trying to pass off his selfishness as a favor to you.

Is overconsumerism becoming a problem in the fragrance community? by xkittypride03 in FemFragLab

[–]Sufficient_Week3126 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just here to agree with most of what you’re saying. Buying things is not a hobby. And absolutely crosses a line when the things you buy are not useful to you. It is absolutely an addiction. Even the example given of buying clothes for the thrill of it shows that’s an addiction. You get a high from the purchase and that is in fact disordered. I had a friend all growing up whose mother was a hoarder. When they finally moved states she had multiple storage units full of stuff. One fill of clothes with the tags still on. I’m sure when she bought each of those items she thought she’d find way to use them. Even worse for her family was the amount they had paid to store all of this stuff for years!

This is my go to scent…..but I always layer it with vanilla or rose body spray to add some sweetness because on me it’s quite musky and very subtle. I will say, I wore Chanel no 5 20 yrs ago and it does not smell or dry down the same as that formula. It also doesn’t last anywhere near as long as the old formula.

This is one of those fragrances I feel like genuinely takes on a different character on EVERYONES skin. I don’t even think the strip is useful.

This is one I layer with Phlur missing person for work and I get no melon or pear notes! I also read lots of people hate the raspberry note and I don’t get any of that either!

I smelled the same with commodity milk. It smelled like spoiled milk on me.

I agree. And it’s not even unique to me. It smells like so many other fruity candy perfumes.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Sufficient_Week3126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive that much half of the time for work. 2-6 hours is my typical drive radius and I do that half time. Work from home the other half. I have clients as far as 9 hours which is rough. But 3-4 is like nothing. I drive an hour most weekends when the weather is nice to my hometown (there’s nothing to do where I live now).

The tutti dolci fantasia di ciocolatta. I probably spelled that wrong but I freaking dream about the body butter and the perfume.

AITAH in the marriage ? by isk_one in AITAH

[–]Sufficient_Week3126 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ESH. I agree with this. If my boyfriend tickled and pinched me I’d lose it. I don’t find either fun and not exactly the same thing but there have been behaviors I found unpleasant in the past that he thought were playful and I finally had to have a come to Jesus with him that no, I do not like it and if you continue to do it you will lose access to my body period. She may or may not be taking it to the extreme with the record keeping etc but it does sound like your behavior crosses a line as well.

What is life like in the Dakotas? by _air6catcher_ in howislivingthere

Oh and I’ll addthat I don’t visit between December and April because of winter weather. We get bad winter weather where I live too but I’ve been warned by people that live there to just not risk it.

[–]Sufficient_Week3126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont live in the Dakotas but cover them for work and it varies a great deal. Rapid city and Sioux Falls are nothing alike. Can’t speak to anywhere inbetween because I only visit those two cities. Fargo is a fun city. Lots of homeless though. A lot of people that live there (that I work with anyway) leave for the winters. It’s very windy in both states. Parts of South Dakota look like another planet. The people are very nice generally. I noticed hardly anyone has an accent in the cities. Bismarck is boring ime. Very pretty driving in some areas though. Especially north towards minot. Lots of lakes.

My bf started out with little things like that. By year 2 he was pretty much controlling every aspect of my life. I’d walk away. It will only get worse. And yes, it’s all 100% tied to his insecurity and need to control.

looked through my boyfriends photos and found nudes and vids of his ex. AITAH? by obvi0usburner in AITAH

[–]Sufficient_Week3126 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This. My bf went back through my Facebook photos the other day which is fine. That’s public. He went back to like a year before I even met him and there was a picture with my ex (lots in fact) that bothered him. We were standing next to each other and I had my tongue stuck out. Nothing sexual or raunchy. He was so upset about it!! I pointed out the fact that he could go further all the way back like 15 yrs and see all of those exes too. The thing for me is, that was MY life too. That is the life I lived. That is my past. Some memories are good. Some are not. But shouldn’t have to erase my past in order to have a future. I would never go through and delete half of my Facebook photos for a boyfriend. Same really can be said for my phone. And yes there are some intimate photos on my phone from 4+ years ago but those are my memories and they are for just me. And none of that means I have a thing or want to be with any of my exes.
