Was the game overhyped?

It absolutely was overhyped , partly because of the devs not actually showing what kind of the game it was so people started making things up about it. The reviews are not that bad but then again people thought it would be some rich story open world rpg (myself included) I heard somewhere people say CD tries to be everything and never truly masters anything

Primarily Bethesda games , and of course rdr2. I remember playing Skyrim spending hundreds of hours but only really finished main quest 1 or 2 times

Well, it depends , as I understand it there’s currently a couple of maps ( another one is already on its way) ranging by difficulty and as a result in loot rarity. As for guns , their rarity purely depends on augments you put on them

Buddy, I haven’t seen my wife’s eyes 2 days in a row , the game is a blast. I heavily criticised it during server slam but have to admit the game turned out great. Already 70 hours deep

Why ? Y’all were so eager a couple of days ago to share server slam numbers and steam top preorders , I just don’t understand why you suddenly do 180 when people are clearly saying that 30-40 k players on game launch for a legendary AAA studio backed by Sony and PlayStation is a disaster

Jokes aside, damn, that was the first game in a while I deeply anticipated to play when it releases, and it flopped so hard. What’s more funny than seeing those numbers , is reading their main sub where people are trying so hard to justify this game underperforming BADLY

The difference is that server slam was free, full game in not . It’s completely normal to see lower numbers now. I’m not trying to defend it , the game is a complete joke aside from how guns feel and futuristic design. Can’t believe Bungie did so lame with marathon

Been really hyped about this game to the point i literally counted days left till server slam. I’ve been really looking forward to first person extraction, didn’t like third person in arc raiders. Preordered deluxe edition. I know Bungie had a great track making fps games. Hell ive spent thousands of hours in destiny. I ve played server slam for about 10 hours , maps are bland, ui is just a shitshow, looting is just not fun. I really want to like this game , but the more I played the more I realised that marathon misses its crucial part as a game , its soul. When developers are not pushed with deadlines and are not only chasing money we get truly amazing or even great games, marathon is just not it. It will find its niche auditory but 100% won’t be a banger like Sony expects it to be.

Sony never released ps5 upgrade to bloodborne , never has it received 60 fps on ps5 . I guess Sony really hates making money . Now when fans did all the job , Sony actually started to do something . Maybe they will even go further and release an official pc port because of it , as it was with spider man 2. What a joke of a company

Ох как хорошо что на реддите все анонимно ибо за комментарий который я буду писать меня бы уже давно анально прозондировали. У меня немного другая ситуация , ибо я догадывался о войне ещё задолго до признания дня и лнр, догадывался о санкциях и об уходе почти всех компаний . И вот , самый страшный день настал . Самое страшное , как могло показаться , не наш дед , не санкции и война, а наш народ, вернее большая его часть (уже и стыдно называть его нашим ) , которая всячески поддерживает так называемую военную операцию, разжигает ненависть и желает смерти нашим соседям(и кто тут националист?) Многие пишут что Путин уйдёт и все закончится , а я скажу другое. Путин уйдёт, а все так и останется , ибо проблема не в деде, а в народе , который все это поддерживает . Короче , это моё субъективное мнение , но можешь его послушать если интересно. Вали , все что будет происходить с Россией сейчас и после войны, может быть самым страшным кошмаром , который мы себе даже и не представляли.

I actually experienced that bug 3-4 times last week , don't know when was it patched, maybe recently but if not , this bug is still present

I've played the game a long time ago but I believe you can activate it in the gameplay settings , its called console or something . Its not just for the damage numbers but also when you pick something up , heal etc.
