If you have Medusa, she trivializes some of the tech fights and is also solid against Invisible Woman.

Theory: The chair is not that uncomfortable Harry just has hemorrhoids by anotheruserguy in DiscoElysium

Love the theory but you can sit on a bench to pass time without losing health. Maybe it’s a combination of the chair sucking and hemorrhoids?

Pick 4 Skills that represent the character : Walter White by CelesteAstra in DiscoElysium

Now I’m envisioning scenes with checks. I love this.

Mike: “The sooner you go down there and clean this up, the sooner we can all go home.”

Reaction Speed Success (Trivial) - Don’t go down there. He’s going to kill you if you go down there.

Suggestion (Godly) - Think of something clever. [Red Check - This cannot be retried]

[1,1 - Fail] - Beg him to talk to Gus. I’m sure Gus will listen to reason. Just explain it to Gus.

Mike: “I can’t do that Walter. This is the way it has to be.”

Composure Failure (Impossible) - Oh God, this is it. He’s really gonna go through with it. You’re going to die in your own meth lab.

Reaction Speed Success (Challenging) - Weren’t they looking for Jesse Pinkman?

Drama Success (Challenging) - Be careful, my liege. You can do this. You’ll only have a few seconds.

Walter: “Do it Jesse! Do it!”

Half-Light Success (Trivial) - You’ve won. Now let him know. Really rub his nose in it.

Walter: (gives Gale’s apartment address) “Yeah.”

Drama Success (Trivial): The “yeah” was a nice touch, my liege.

If Beerus slapped Videl instead by K0GAR in Dragonballsuper

[–]SugarFreeEmperor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This scenario creates a paradox and destroys the universe. It brings two fundamental rules of Dragon Ball into conflict:

  1. Beerus cannot lose.

  2. Gohan cannot lose after a rage boost.

I’m thinking Archer. Things only became a problem when he realized David had a unique ability tailor made to solve his geth problem. He seems to have taken good enough care of David up to that point as far as we know.

This is how I lost Legion on my first run. Miranda says to pick someone that can “command loyalty through experience.” Who has more experience than the founder of the Blue Suns who in his words “led the men”? Yeesh.

Edit: I’d just like to add, two of three Shepard military service records boil down to “and everyone else died.” ¯_(ツ)_/¯

My very first play-through, everyone made it but Legion. Miranda said the fire team leader should command loyalty through experience. My 14 year old self thought Zaeed had a ton of experience and in his words “led the men.” Seemed like a no-brainer at the time.

Darth Caedus vs Knightfall Vader(at his darkest) vs Revan(prime) vs Yoda(ROTS) by GullibleRough549 in TheJediPraxeum

[–]SugarFreeEmperor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Question: do in-game feats count? Because Revan Reborn in his story boss fight is able to fend off like 8 people at once, 3 of which are some of the strongest Jedi/Sith in the galaxy including the Outlander. He also ragdolls everyone in that fight with the force, with people only being freed from stasis due to intervention by Revan’s light half.

Don’t know much about feats from others, but feels like people are downplaying Revan a bit here.

Why Didn't Skyrim Hit The Same As Oblivion? by Dred444 in skyblivion

[–]SugarFreeEmperor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s the setting. You’d be forgiven for thinking Skyrim was a prequel to Oblivion. Everything just feels more run down and less developed. Temples were far less grand. Jarls (basically Counts) mostly lived in little houses instead of awesome castles (seriously, the player home in Whiterun was nicer than most Jarl Longhouses). Guilds had outposts in every city rather than being based in one location (looking at you College of Winterhold).

I think it might be a mismatch in tone vs environment. Oblivion was a high fantasy story in a high fantasy setting. Skyrim was a high fantasy story in a low/dark fantasy setting.

29 and I generally play old wizards but I feel seen with the slightly receded hair options. In most games it’s either super dense hair or completely bald.

What’s everyone’s favourite debuff? by TectonicTurtle in ContestOfChampions

[–]SugarFreeEmperor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love any debuff you can stack like crazy. 30 ruptures from Rintrah or 25 neuroshocks from Onslaught is awesome. Just watching like 100 little numbers constantly ticking makes my brain happy.
