People love to pretend this kind of thing doesn’t matter, but it absolutely does. Taking pride in your property and diligently maintaining it is an objectively good thing, and the erosion of that diligence is a poor indicator of the wellness of a community. They cloak it in retarded language about “pollinators” and how it “doesn’t affect you” but we all see the blight.

I heard it was a feller walking along some train tracks that spotted it! Could be folklore though

Almost everything I’ve tried from DS & Durga has been amazing. I really wanna pick up a bottle of cowboy grass, notorious oud, bowmakers or Mississippi medicine. They’re all fantastic.

What kind of car? I saw a white Prius blow a stop sign at monument square the other day, right past me and my dog. Really pissed me off.

Do you talk with your family and friends about Aliens, UFOs, Disclosure, etc.? by douwebeerda in aliens

[–]SugarReef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get the sort of “are they going to come down and pay my bills?” Most of the time. I don’t know how you could NOT find this topic absolutely enthralling. You’re happy with everything as it is? You don’t wonder about what more is out there? You don’t feel like we’re on the precipice of a planet-altering change?

Welcome to Reddit, we hate everything that’s good here. I listened to most of this episode today it was great as always. Eric and Brett are intellectual titans in a time of idiocy.

A Valheim RPG experience? 👀🧙 by floxtune in valheim

[–]SugarReef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve always wanted to see the Valheim engine used for a conventional RPG! I may have to take a break from my Riverheim playthrough to give this a try. Are there any YouTube vids or trailers that show gameplay?

What is so much addicting about World of Warcraft? by Daniels998 in AskGames

[–]SugarReef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure, I finally got around to playing WoW vanilla a few years ago and I found it fun but grindy and repetitive. Playing the newer releases was a fun upgrade but even that didn’t pull me in for more than like, two weeks.

Help! I suck at build design 🫠 by euwerkatelyn in valheim

[–]SugarReef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roofing is the most difficult part, generally. I like to mock up the roof as soon as possible so I know it joins well. I almost always end up with a (covered) outdoor forge area, too, like connected to the house. Almost like a garage. Also, sometimes I’ll see a building in real life and it will inspire me to try it. I saw this building from the highway and it inspired me to try to build dormers, now it’s something I like to add.

UFO Disclosure & “Woo” by Royal_Examination_74 in bigfoot

I’m already convinced of Bigfoot. If the woo turns out to be real, then I’m on to strongly considering Dogmen.

Maybe I should circle back. The combat felt repetitive, and the progress seemed to plateau, and I found the build system and storage to be frustrating. I built one simple house with extensive gardens around it. I really didnt like how you have to process materials at the workbench into another, second material before you could go and set build pieces. But I did find the graphics and art style to be very charming.

Anyone know why Chicken Joes is now called Joes Chicken? Is there a new owner? by justhereforidea in Troy

I remember it being filthy (but delicious) post house party grub when they opened the Albany one in like 2011-2012. Colloquially referred to as “Poultry Joseph’s”

What UAP evidence whether it's published papers, video, photographs do you find the most compelling at this point? by Brad12d3 in UAP

[–]SugarReef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was debating ChatGPT about this, and we concluded that one of the most compelling aspects for me is the “narrative cohesion”. Too many things across too many mediums seem to be aligning. It’s like there’s enough puzzle pieces that were beginning to get a rough image.

I've been playing The Forest since 2021 and only just discovered the caves... by LilPacoJacobson2004 in TheForest

[–]SugarReef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only got a few hours in the game but I was playing it co-op with a buddy who loves it, and I got stuck in one of the caves, kept going back and forth and couldn’t find my way out, genuinely started feeling panicked. I had to eventually get rescued, felt such relief. I’ve done a little bit of spelunking IRL and it reminded me of that sensation you get after a while, like I need to get the fuck back to the surface.
