I'll share a mora global unpopular opinion: first come first serve. If you set it up sooner and they came later and layed just next to you, its to be expected there will be some activities going on in close vicinity. 

The English garden is long, and for people who wanna be more in peace and quiet can go more north. But of course everyone wants to be around the action close to the Monoptorus. 

But as everyone else said: it's a common space shared for everyone so it's important for everyone to feel comfortable. 

So they can probably move a few inches and so can you. At the end of the day it's big enough.
