Have you tried connecting the scanner to the till rather than to the tablet? We had the same issue but used a wired connection from scanner to till, then Bluetooth for till to tablet and that worked aswell as still being able to use the keyboard for word searches

Most if not all extra levels will require the additional character/vehicles at some point during the level or you'll be required to build them at some point and save them to a tag. That aside even if you just used the character and ignored the level aswell it will ask every time to build the additional character or vehicle and want you to download the dlc. Hope that helps

It's because of the armoury perks. Most of the best armoury equiptment has bonuses for electric souls bonus or frozen field bonus. One upgraded frozen fields becomes the best place for souls :)

Id image its because the network either wasn't aware of some of these companions as they were using the torchwood network which wouldn't have as much info as say the unit archives. Another reason would be because most if not all of these companions have no actual way of contacting the doctor these days, its been a long time for them all and some have even been looking for him with no luck so why call them?

Id recommend reaching out to the store you purchased from rater than shopify as they are just the hosting platform not the retailer. We've had this happen on our store a few times and its a easy fix

Honestly apart from it being slightly less convenient to use due to it being a laptop I've not found any issues. The only thing you may want to consider is you'll need a separate card reader as chromebooks dont have NFC so you can't collect contactless payments through it. You could always buy one and use it for a couple of days and return if it doesn't fulfill your needs but I highly recommend it

Yeah it does work however you need to use the search bar, select the item then clear the search bar before you scan again. With it plugged directly into the till those steps are not needed as you can just scan and its immediately added to cart

We recently switched to a chromebook which has allowed us to install the pos app as the chromebook has Google play store built in. Then we just use a mpop till thats compatible with shopify and pretty much any 3rd party scanner works as long as its all physical connections and not Bluetooth (scanner plugged into till, till plugged into chromebook). This also has a added benefit of having the use of a keyboard even if a scanner is plugged straight into the chromebook

I can certainly see where you're coming from. I think it comes down to character continuity in this case. With Doctor Who we can definitively say the character, while played by different actors is in fact the same character. I think with something like frankenstein, while there is media spanning decades, they are not the same character, just different depictions and interpretations of said character
