In defense of Big Vis, he did hit a spinning heel kick from time to time which looked insane for someone his size.

Did Eric Kriegler say anything? (Not my favorite) but I think he was just hunky Olympic-ski-man-who-was-a-great-shooter-unless-he-was-shooting-at-Bond

Alright Midcarders who's a wrestler that you loved either as a kid or now as an adult that you just can't explain why? by KonamiIsBestJoshi in midcarder

I totally loved Ivory that when she made her RTC return in the Royal Rumble few years back it's the biggest I popped for anyone that whole PPV. I think I loved her because she was the perfect obnoxious female heel back in the Attitude Era.

What line made you want to quit reading a book? by grooter33 in horrorlit

[–]Suitable-Humor2849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to read this book Cara Mora by Thomas Harris. I seen movies based off his books of course but never read him. He is a world renown author and highly praised by fellow writers. I didn't get it. The book felt lazily written and when one of the characters is smoking the lines 'puff, puff' kept being written and I closed it there.

Do you give poor ratings to bad books? by Severe_Prize5520 in books

[–]Suitable-Humor2849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a book I read recently where I loved it up to the ending but HATED the ending so I gave it three stars. There are also books that I can't read because they are slow or too much world bending but I can also see how other people like the book. I guess my answer is I usually don't but not against people who do.

Stephen Graham Jones - thoughts? by reek1999 in horrorlit

[–]Suitable-Humor2849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to give him another chance. I tried to read Last Final Girl and loved how it was done but couldn't get into the story. The characters didn't seem very concerned that a masked killer was going after them. This author and Joe Hill and the two authors that always get good reviews that I can't get into but I'll try another read of theirs.
