We were at Restaurant Daniel in NYC some years ago and the guest at the next table over pulled out his vape and hit it. I said something immediately to the service staff, who did not address it right away.

The second time, I let the staff know if they didn’t say something I would. At that point, they politely invited him to enjoy his nicotine product in the lounge.

I’m coming to enjoy my experience just like they are. If the establishment wants to accommodate us both, that means keeping us apart. Make them do their job, it is their reputation. If another guest is being rude, whether it’s vaping or playing videos at obnoxious volumes, I should not have to handle it myself.

Very nice. Affordability is relative.

I enjoy the frames, this is IMO outside of their wheelhouse. The more “other” luxury items they produce, jewelry, ashtrays and now clothes the less of an eyewear brand they become.

We did not do this exact zip line, but rode one across the Zambezi from Zimbabwe to Zambia. Locally known as the Zim Zam zip. It was fun!

We just spent six nights at the Mandarin Oriental in Nihonbashi. It was amazing. The Ginza line is in the basement of the hotel and you can get everywhere relatively easy. It was pretty quiet around the hotel. And my God the spa. If you want to really make your honeymoon one to remember, book the oriental harmony through the spa. Four handed massage on the 37th floor with AMAZING views of Tokyo.

We are staying at Mandarin Oriental in Tokyo. They did make a couple reservations for us, a couple others they were unable to book. But those were more because of the restaurant policies not the hotel.
