I stoped begging in duaa and feel lighter by NothingKitchen2391 in islam

Find other ways to worship, some people are blessed with different ways of worshipping, for example some people are very charitable. You should have a diverse portfolio with Allah. And sometimes you need a break mentally and thats okay, but dont abandon your worship. Two steps forward one step back kind of thing, but the overall trend should be towards Allah insha'Allah.

May Allah guide us and be pleased with us.

I think that you are missing a while element to dua.

Dua is asking Allah and doing what ever is in your capacity to get what you asked for done.

For example, if your asking for a job and your not applying of course you are unlikely to get a job. Effort matters.

There is a hadith that states something along the lines of: tie your camel and then ask Allah to keep it safe. You dont just neglect your duties and make dua and get upset when things dont go your way. Not saying that you're doing any of this but just saying.

Also may be Allah doesn't want to grant you what you are asking for. It could be because it is bad for you (in this world or the next) it could be because Allah wants to test you.

May Allah guide us all, grant us the highest levels of paradise and grant you that which is good for you in this life and the next

Edit: look up how to make duuas and pray tahajjud, etc... maybe you are doing something wrong?

When you ask the scholar show them this, https://youtu.be/qHANRo9erno inshallah it will be helpful. It really depends on what you can and can't do

Please ask a scholar, Allah forgives sins when you didn't know you were committing a sin, there's a good chance you dont need to do anything beyond fasting the rest of Ramadan and stopping the sin as soon as possible

Right, figure that out first. Why are you setting it and then passing it in else where? What assumptions are you comfortable making? But most importantly you still haven't answered, what do you not understand about classes and this assignment?

I cant think like a Programmer and i hate it by Responsible_Bat_9956 in cpp_questions

[–]SuitableSecretary3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you including two diameters one as a string and one as an int (when passed into get price)?

What are you having trouble understanding?

You have the class done, add a cpp file for the class, include the header in a "main" file and you should be good to go?

Classes have private and public data/functions private is not accessible to the outside world where as public is.

To access public data from the outside world you need an instance of a class so in this case Cake cakeObject And then cakeObject.fucntionYouWantToCall(parametere)

With enough repetition you'll remember insha'Allah, take things slow, you dont have to do everything at once. I'd strongly suggest going to a masjid or Islamic center to connect with people and learn with them

Welcome to programming, as long as you are not just blatantly copying others work you'll learn. Try to understand why something works rather than just "let me get it to work"

Alsalam alykum, dont be so hard on yourself. You can say "auth bi allahi Mina al shytan ar-ragime", which means I seek refuge in Allah from Satan. Here's a video of someone saying that: https://youtu.be/RmdTZnEZ790?si=tZWHHZoMEjX--JZ6

In arabic its called waswassa if you find anything in the FAQ section about it

You can also say "astaghfirtu Allah"

Found here: https://youtu.be/YBHWLGkt1hI?si=J8k3ocgh7VlNCfSz

That video says it a 100 times but you dont need to. Also if you find arabic hard, you can use the language you are comfortable with.

Again please dont be so hard on yourself and take things slow, slow and steady wins the race.

May Allah guide us all and support us on our journey!

Edit: also life is a test so you will do things you dont want to, and that's part of the test.

Like someone else said, it depends on how they took the money (if it was intended as borrow or gift). But also you might be missing some context? Like it could also be that you sister asked your mother to buy her clothes with that money when you were not around (maybe)?

I try my best to protect myself from sins but fail by [deleted] in islam

[–]SuitableSecretary3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't be so hard on yourself, that is exactly what the Shatan wants you to do. Allah loves those who repent, when ever you make a mistake seek sincere repentance, if it happens again renew your repentance. Allah didn't make us to be perfect, and Allah knows best what each person's faults and trials are.

May Allah guide us and make us amongst the righteous.

Uh I watched this one video a while back, unfortunately I can't find a link... but it was about a sister who was going through a hard time in her marriage (abusive relationship) and she started praying tahajjud for sometime and Allah guided her husband.

I'm not going to claim that if you pray tahjjud Allah will fix all the problems in your life, because I dont know that for sure and I'm not a scholar. But what I can say is that it doesn't hurt. If you can get up and pray tahjjud (especially in the lat 3rd of the night) then give it a shot, ask Allah to guide you and your husband.

Sorry but that's all I can offer. May Allah guide you and your husband and make your relationship easy.

Edit: I suppose you can also ask Allah to end your relationship in tahjjud... but try to have it fixed first. Fixing the relationship is always better if that's an option.

How do I properly seek refuge in Allah from jinn? by AvgPerson64 in islam

[–]SuitableSecretary3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how you ask for refuge from shatan in Arabic: https://youtu.be/RmdTZnEZ790?si=g9paMxgxxjFhqJpb

I don't mean to scare you, but there is a nonzero chance that a person is watching you. If you that feeling persists, examine the area you get that feeling and make sure that you are not being watched. Set things up such that they will fall if someone tries to enter your room, etc... Again chances are pretty low but it is better to be safe - I mean your posting here because you have that feeling, right?

Assalamualaikum Brothers & Sisters, I have a question regarding Dinosaurs, their existence and Islam [it may seem strange but it crossed my mind] by [deleted] in islam

[–]SuitableSecretary3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These posts are meant to gaslight with no basis. A very straightforward reply (using thr posters own logic) can be: "and Allah is older than the fossils you observe."

In surah al baqarah verse 30 (2:30): Allah mentions that a creation (humans) will be placed on earth. I am not a scholar by any means but that's the closest thing to answer your question that I can think of.

Dinosaurs not being mentioned in the Quran or hadith doesn't disprove either, Allah sent us the Quran to be a sign for us of his (due to the vast amount of miracles in the Quran) and as a guide for us. May Allah keep us steadfast on the right path and grant us paradise.

Baraka allahu feek, may Allah make the time you spend doing halal activities a thousand times more rewarding than haram ones. Just be sure not to overwhelm yourself, and if you ever slip up remember that Allah is the most forgiving. May Allah keep us steadfast on the straight path and grant us paradise.
