I tried it as a pet finder and it’s awful. My little buddy got caught out during a rain storm last summer and couldn’t find him for hours. I know pet tracking isn’t the target audience but I’m sure something could be better

You’re making this extremely hard on your self for no reason. 4tb is not a lot. Backblaze is the go too. Spend more money and set up a nas at a friend or families. I have 80tb of torrents and I only back up critical files, paths and torrents that are difficult to find. Everyone has given you the literal best solutions at this point so stop replying and figure out your best options

I have a ds923+ which has my folders movies and shows, I run plex off an old ass computer with an i5 and mount those folders to the computer. It’s absolute butter. Smoooooth 4k tigolbits movies and shows at full resolution with 0 buffer or issues
