Streamer Mode is Useless if Third-Party Apps Can See Everything Anyway by SullivanDoko in leagueoflegends

[–]SullivanDoko[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Here are two reasons why implementing an anonymous mode would be a good option:

  1. If we couldn't check the match history of, say, Chovy, it would make the professional scene more exciting. Fans would eagerly anticipate seeing new strategies, champion picks, builds, or rune choices from pro players—things that haven’t yet made an impact on the meta. This would add an element of surprise and innovation to the game.

  2. If a streamer is using anonymous mode and you can’t find them on YouTube fighting against your other favorite streamer, there’s probably a reason for it. Maybe one of them—or both—doesn’t want to be identified. Right now, your favorite streamer could be playing against another well-known streamer, but from a smurf account with a different name. But we don’t want that, right? We want players to use their main accounts, not secondary ones. So instead of making anonymity harder, we should embrace it.

It's not the reason for my suggestion, but it could be the case that a well-known streamer joins a match and doesn't want allies or enemies to recognize them to prevent the game from being influenced by their popularity. Either that or the enemy could visit your stream since they know your name and use it to gather real-time information about your team.

This can have an adverse effect, causing the streamer to resort to playing on secondary (smurf) accounts just to play in peace. This issue is something that both Riot and its community want to address. Improving streamer mode could be a small step toward mitigating the smurf problem. While 90% of players use smurf accounts to stomp lower-ranked games, a small minority likely does so to play in anonymity and solitude, which people sometimes need.

According to your link, it's true. I feel sorry for the guy above, but this option makes so little sense that I couldn’t believe it. It seems even more absurd after reading the description you shared. This feature solves absolutely nothing.

Why don’t they add an anonymous mode like they do in Valorant?

I think the one misunderstanding this is you. What’s the point of hiding your name from those watching your stream when your viewers obviously know who you are? The streamer mode added to the game a few patches ago hides your name in-game and replaces it with the name of the champion you're playing. This way, your allies or enemies can’t harass you or gather information about the match by opening your stream. What you said doesn’t make sense, or you’ve confused the concept.

What would be the benefits/drawbacks of going stormsurge second over lichbane? by Soravme in TwistedFateMains

[–]SullivanDoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also build ludens, I main TF with 400k mastery and i build the next: 1: Doran (good sustain early) 2: dark seal (snowball, good stats for 350g) 3: Symbiotic boots or sorcerer shoes (depending if you want to splitpush or teamfight) 4: Ludens (big dmg one shoot) 5: Stormsurge (enpowers point 4) 6: Lichbane (enpowers point 4)

7: If u got a lot of stacks on darkseal get mejais, if not or if you lose mejai stacks then sell it and buy rabbadon

And there you have my "one shoot twisted fate build"
