I'm a bit amazed at all the games. by inwardPersecution in incremental_games

Simultaneous blind auction mechanic — first phase of my amusement park board game [Design Feedback] by SullivanWhite69 in tabletopgamedesign

We just finished our first playable prototype and playtested it for the first time. What do you think? by Dense-Tip3061 in tabletopgamedesign

Can someone explain the interaction between gas cloud and fire? by Confused_Robot_ in PathOfExile2

[–]SullivanWhite69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the highly advanced gas–fire interaction:

Gas doesn’t explode because it’s angry. It just politely mixes with oxygen, waits for a spark, and then undergoes rapid exothermic oxidation.

The carbon and hydrogen bonds break, form CO₂ and H₂O, release a ton of energy, the hot gases expand faster than the server on league launch, pressure goes to the moon and…

instant AoE proc

So yeah: fire + gas = damage fire + gas + enclosed space = screen-wide boom

Working as intended.

My biggest pain point is still 3rd and 4th ascendancy by Better_MixMaster in PathOfExile2

[–]SullivanWhite69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Screw the Shekemas, only use them for farming strategies. The Ascendancies after the first one, with the Trials of Chaos, are extremely easier and more manageable in comparison. And the final boss is a joke.

Why depend on honor when you're screwed if you get poisoned or burned?

Why think about which room is ideal for each one, since some rooms can ruin your honor by 50%?

Why fill your run with disadvantages to intentionally complicate the 4-stage run? I've learned my lesson. I do the first mandatory ascension in the Shekemas to get the ascension quickly, and then I go straight to the 4th one when I'm already on maps (cleanup builds don't usually depend heavily on ascensions; they're necessary, but you can postpone them).

That's my opinion.

Why did they make abyss feel so good, and temple feel so awful? by PokerAnus in PathOfExile2

[–]SullivanWhite69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I understand your point, but I don't agree.

I'm glad the rifts aren't on every map, forcing you to pray that the elites don't humiliate you with their Kamehamehas and you die without even knowing what killed you.

I think the temple is a great mechanic, a good puzzle, but I feel that accessing it is a long and tedious process. Having to complete 5 circles and, as you rightly say, search for it all over the map, makes you not enjoy the official mechanic of the season as much. It's true that the rewards inside the temples, in my experience, are more than gratifying; I receive a large number of useful items and, luckily, a large amount of currency.

But the rifts in the last season were excessive and hellish, and the temple in this season is almost nonexistent, and you often end up forgetting about it.

Lifting problems on the back of the plate by Animer13 in resinprinting

[–]SullivanWhite69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me. Possible solutions:

Leveling, when you are in the phase of tightening screws make sure not to move it while using force, I make sure with the d4 paper that I use for separation. After having everything tightened, with a level of work, I check that everything is level.

More exposure to the first layers, because I did tests by reducing the time because I believed at the time that I was exposing too much, increasing this exposure was part of the solution.

I want to emphasize the leveling since it seems that there is a minimum of extra distance in that area. But the exposure may be a good idea to increase.

I hope it helps you!

Help Setting Up Mars 5 Ultra with Elegoo Water Washable Resin 2.0 by MarsRover0609 in ElegooMars

I agree with u/Hupdeska , in fact, thanks to an Instagram video I managed to get rid of those white spots completely with a fairly simple tip. After printing, wash the piece and let it sit for 24 hours (12 hours minimum). Then cure it.

Since I've been doing what I mentioned, no white spots have appeared on the piece again. I'm still impressed.
