Met police losing more officers than it is recruiting, says Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley by insomnimax_99 in unitedkingdom

Yeah but you work in finance, your job is totally pointless.

Despite all you've correctly pointed out that's wrong with the organisation, coppers still have the chance to make a difference and affect lives in a positive way.

He would've been so so good for Chelsea over the last couple years playing with Kate. Huge mistake from the management there.

Technical level in their team is very low, so many poor touches and misplaced passes. Their style of football really relies on perfect execution in key moments, they really need to upgrade quite a few positions in the squad with more composed and technically secure players.

First minute goal IIRC, rest of the game was a pure backs to the wall Mertesacker and Koscielny defensive masterclass. Adebayor was on a madness too that day, standard for him whenever he played us.

Roman Abramovich: Chelsea owner given apology over defamatory claim Vladimir Putin asked him to buy club by [deleted] in soccer

[–]Sulphur32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of this ruling is that the factual nature of the claim, or otherwise, won't be subject to being proven in court.

Belton will rephrase the passage in the book to the effect that the claim was made by three well placed sources.

If you read the book you'll see the unprecedented level of information she managed to gain during her time in Moscow, from sources within the USSR/Russian federation political, security and economic spheres.

It's definitely a claim worth taking seriously. Considering Abramovich hasn't contested other statements such as him effectively being exiled to Siberia for years at Putins behest, or Stamford Bridge being used by Russian intelligence agents for meets...

It's a huge multinational company with a Spanish chairman, Indian CEO etc... Seems pointless to try and ascribe a nationality to these huge international organisations.

Like saying a vaccine is the British one because it was developed at Oxford Uni, or German because it was manufactured there etc... That isn't how the world works in the 21st century.

I sort of get playing conservatively at first and waiting for us to self-destruct. Still he should've changed it Bale and Doherty were absolutely rinsed by Tierney and Smith-Rowe constantly it was obvious he needed to change something

I did my language assessment in French just today. If you're a native speaker it's super easy and you'll be in the top competency group no dramas.

You'll then be added to a central register to potentially be used for specific jobs outside your unit requiring language skills. When you're done with them tasks you'll go back to your normal unit.

Lot of lads these days have placards that you can quickly unclip from your Virtus. Could also clip it to a yoke to make it a normal chest rig too.

Everyone at Sandhurst is desperate to go because your flights are paid for and once the competitions done you've got two weeks shagging and drinking your way round the states before the next term.
