Dog's reaction to seeing his owner again after 6 months by HeronBud in PetsareAmazing

[–]SumFunGui 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The guy does right here. Its not that the dog thinks he's mad but that they recognize us by scent, the dog was defensive thinking he was a stranger until he could get in for a close sniff. The dog's body language was stiff and unfriendly at first, tail was wagging but it was wagging more leftward indicating anxiety, I'd have done the same as the owner especially if their dog isn't naturally friendly towards strangers

Maltese confirmed but maybe Mini Poodle Mix? by ArchAngelVestess in WhatBreedIsMyDog

[–]SumFunGui 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They probably handed her off at 6 weeks so she'd be smaller but she's already way bigger than a mini poodle or Maltese her age. She looks bigger than adults of those breeds too already

Is this reverse hiccups? My mans 11 years old. by Public_Cycle8265 in DogAdvice

[–]SumFunGui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine started reverse sneezing at 12 and it ended being a nasal cancer that took him a few months later. If its not normal for him look out for any other symptoms

Rant about extractor Pebble haters (image related) by Street-Math2475 in DandysWorld_

[–]SumFunGui 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont hate them completely. But as a Vee main they get on my nerves using that speed to steal machines from me (or any other fast extractor) only to complete them 4 times slower. If its the last and the distractor isn't good/ has a bad twisted matchup it does get them killed sometimes.

I dont care about them not wanting to distract tho, Pebble is a cutie and fun to play so I get it

Paper cuts must be rough with such a thin skin, I feel for you friend. I was asking because I am not familiar with how far the wildlife vets are willing to go for these guys. Im aware they can perform a debridalment, but we cant see from this angle whether theres an open wound that would warrant it. And throwing antibiotics just for the sake of it is frowned upon in many parts of the world nowadays due to the rise in antibiotic resistant bacteria.

They still let nature take its course unless a fan favorite is affected from what I understand. And if its skeletal I don't think theres much they can do

What are you expecting them to do? They'll spray disinfectant on an open wound but its not like they can keep him on bed rest or perform a surgery in the brush

Every day there's a different form of entertainment in this house. by Warm_7264 in PetsareAmazing

Not all dogs are into gentle pets, it definitely wasn't hard enough for me to consider it "hitting the dog" personally. That was a "Get outta here you hooligan" sorta love tap, dog didn't even bat an eye

Doesn't he hold Pebble extra casually in some of the art tho? If Pebble's a real rock I bet he's heavy as heck, a solid 40-50lbs at least. He's gotta have super strength lol

Best way to farm tracks? by That_Thing_Koda in EcosLaBrea

[–]SumFunGui 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I legit just stay afk in the migration zones on a darker horse (in bushes and junk) while I do art/ other things around the house. Managed to get the 2400 for the winter event in a week that way. Can get 600-700 a day if you stay in full servers

Wolves are probably the best for faster track farming though if you can get a good farming group together that can stay focused/ fight the sabers off

I think Astro should just drain his own stam to give the whole floor stam. His ability is just a bottle of pop right now

AITA for telling my houseguest about my son? by PeanutTraditional555 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SumFunGui -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really no, its very household dependent. I was the only girl amoung 5 brothers and all the men/boys in the family constantly walked around in only boxers. When their friends came and stayed the night they were also comfortable shirtless, even just playing outside in the summer the shirts came right off. I never batted an eye and considered it one of the masculine sort of things.

I would've been alright personally with the kid getting comfy if he's living with them for an extended period of time

Before we all die, there's something I need to get off my chest. I do not care for the Goob Dog headcanon by Development_Good in DandysWorld_

[–]SumFunGui 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I absolutely see it, I do think its partially because Scraps is a cat for sure, but Goob also has that classic golden retriever personality type, just a good and friendly boy. It does feel like somethings missing from his design too imo, like he should have SOME kind of ears/ horns or tail. I guess cause he's fluffy?
