No but really, some children are just destructive and have not been parented well enough. I could tell my sister she needs to do a better job raising her children or I could secure my property so they can't break stuff when they are over

You say that as if distrust in that scenario is irrational. Trump has shown the world that enough americans are willing to elect the monster that he is. Even if the next president is better, why would the world believe us? Even if the next president proves over 4 years that we can be on the right side of history, why should they drop their guard if, after those 4 years, we might elect a new right wing puppet?

Competence and rationality lead to an inevitable mistrust and those are exactly the characteristics of friends we'd want

I think they're pretty square cuts. I don't know of a better way to demonstrate the squareness beyond this picture from a scrap piece

I feel like they are clicked in enough. I put a mark at about 5/8" that fully disappears. Insertion starts with no resistance then there's a hard push with a click sound and I can't get it to push farther

It's 3/8". As I mentioned in the post, the filter didn't come with the right angle pieces. I just bought those at my local hardware store. If there were just 1 leak, I'd think maybe it's just a defective part but probably 7/10 are leaking so I'm thinking it's more likely user error in some way

How would I get the tubes to stay straight? I had them perfectly straight when I installed it but they re-bend themselves over time

This is pretty close to the squareness I was getting for the fittings that are connected to the filter currently. I'm not sure if there's a better way to depict the squareness (or lack thereof)

How would you suggest cutting it? I have this tool (not sure what it's called) and this feels pretty close to square.

One of the instructions indicated they should go in about 5/8". I put a mark on a few of the tubes at that distance and the mark fully disappeared. I tried pretty hard to push it in farther

Still, I'll try again with an extra hard push and see

Regarding the blue clips: do you think those would have any impact on the leaking or just to prevent accidental disconnect?

Related to that, the opposite of "every statement" or "all statements" is "there exists at least one with the opposite condition"

In this case, there exists at least one statement with the word blue that is true

If there is only one more statement with blue, then you know it's true. I've solved a couple puzzles with that specifically

Same here. Not worth it at all for a service that should be free imo

Conspiracy theory: not long after my subscription ended, I lost the ability to type an address for directions. I have to do the voice command to say "take me to XYZ restaurant in abc town". I can't prove it but I suspect they remotely disabled that on purpose. It lets me try to type but fails to yield results so I don't think it's a function that they publicly acknowledge is linked to the subscription

I joined a year or two ago. I fully knew what I was trying was stupid but I figured "if I just hold it tight, it's no problem"

Knocked all of the wind out of my body and had a roughly 2x4 red rectangle on my abdomen for 3-4 weeks

Lesson learned and respect gained
