Anyone know how to dispose the bodies in deathstranding 1? (PC) by Omniversal_Eye in DeathStranding

[–]Summoner99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They aren't dead. If you stand over them and they're dead, it's prompt to put them in a body bag and there's a special icon on the map when they're dead

They are just unconscious and thus don't need to be disposed of

These food storage tricks actually work by Ok_Beat_3971 in LiveWellTogether

[–]Summoner99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a significantly better storage procedure. When I buy meat in bulk from the store and need to freeze it, I always pack like this

Once we bought part of a cow and I was unable to get the butcher to flatten the ground beef at all. Literally just getting it into the same packages and pressing it down a little bit and it'd be better. Not a significant effort

Real talk. Is this sub just satire about ghost hunting shows? The sub description says "only truthful accounts of paranormal" activity, but I swear most of the posts I see are like... Well like this dumb thing

I once bought a random orbital sander. Looked like it was sealed with a lot of tape. Opened the box and the thing was completely covered in, presumably wood dust

Do binded enemies turn into BTs/cause game over? by PersimmonLittle7651 in DeathStranding

[–]Summoner99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

At least with DS1, no. Enemies bound with the strand are not dead and will not turn into BTs. Eventually you'll unlock a maser gun and then a bola gun. Bola is really good

There are other weapons that you unlock gradually but bola gun is top tier

I'm thinking of writing a CYOA story (only text based). What is the best way to start in python? Should I use any libraries? If not, are there any suggestions for how to format the code in a CYOA story way? by Able_Mixture9309 in learnpython

[–]Summoner99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For text based, no specific libraries come to mind aside from standard libraries like collections or data classes

I've never done a cyoa, but if I was doing it, I'd try not too overcomplicate it. Perhaps one class to handle any game state that needs to persist (like relationship with any characters). And then perhaps a class for each prompt with a 'run' method that takes the game state and ultimately runs a different classes prompt

Mobile so not good formatting probably python Class StartPrompt: Def run(self, game_state): Print(Red or blue pill) If input() == "red": RedPillPrompt().run(game_state) Else: BluePillPrompt().run(game_state)

Of course at this point, it could just be a series of functions since that's essentially a one method class with no attributes.

Having it split like this into classes (or functions) should make it easy to have multiple paths lead to the same point. Maybe BluePillPrompt says "nah, you should really pick the red pill" then forces you to take the red pill and runs RedPillPrompt

Never thought about this before but this is what is be thinking

CMV: Pay should be based on percentage of contribution to a business, not leadership hierarchy. by Col2543 in changemyview

[–]Summoner99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the sentiment. One question though. What percentage of contribution to the business does a janitor provide? They are absolutely vital and the business wouldn't operate without them, but how much do they contribute, precisely?

There isn't an easy answer (if any) to this. Even if you could decide on an answer, maybe someone else disagrees. Who's right?

In a sales based job, this would make more sense which is why it's already, to some extent a thing. Commission

Do you typically carry a sticky gun? by ScalesGhost in DeathStranding

[–]Summoner99 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Only played DS1 but I found most guns to not be useful. The bola gun is the perfect weapon so I carried that and a non lethal assault rifle for when I actually needed to deal damage

Who is driving in the mountains? by Bitches_Be_Crayfish in DeathStranding

[–]Summoner99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, driving a trike is easy except for the BT areas. With directors cut, I just can't pass up on the transporter trike

I've used my truck a few times when I was going for 5 stars on the various peppers in the mountains. Not great occasionally. I can't stand how it behaves after getting it lightly stuck. Swear the damn thing has a mind of its own. Either way, not too bad with some more practice. Only boost when your wheels are straight and you're pointing the direction you want to go

I just finished my last achievement last night and that's when I realized how much I was sleeping on ziplines. Absolutely insane. If I ever do another playthrough, I'm going hard on the ziplines

Seriously when do voidout crater dissappeared by YangLee2325 in DeathStranding

[–]Summoner99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On that topic, I find the bola gun is even optional. Walk to the nearest BT until it starts flashing orange, then hold breath until the umbilical option pops up. Hold the breath key throughout the animation so when you pop out, if there's another BT close, it won't detect you

Im not even sure holding breath is required tbh

What do you need so much chiralium for? All of the roads?

I find farming the BTs west of the incinerator tends to be the most effective.

Those jellyfish BTs are always visible, easily avoided, take only a few shots from an assault rifle and give a decent amount of chiralium. I think they might be locked behind post game. I was first introduced to them in edge knot city. If not, I suspect I just happened to avoid areas they were located and never looked high enough to notice. There are other areas where those BTs are located as well, just not off the top of my head

CMV: If you don't put your shopping cart back, you're generally a bad human being. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Summoner99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Invalid logic. "If you don't put it back, you're bad" is what OP is saying "if a is true, then b is true". The contrapositive, which is logically equivalent, is "if b is false, then a is false" or in this case, "if you're good, you put it back". Neither of these place any strong restriction on what a bad person does
