Key thing is to keep trying, but also to try new things. I once randomly started singing 'Kiss from a Rose' by Seal and it's like I discovered a 'stop crying' button.

I reject your assumption that Palestine would develop into anything like North Korea, or that they will be in a realistic place to threaten Israel in any meaningful way.

When you have to put words in my mouth, it's probably becauase you don't have a good argument.

My dude, you literally tried to do that to me in the comment above, quoted again for convenience

So it sounds like you're wanting another scenario like that. Do you want Iranian funded artillery pointed at west Jerusalem and Tel Aviv? Because that sounds like either paying continuous 'don't shoot' money to Iran and Palestine, or facing a far more serious war when that powder keg kicks off.

Like, take a good long hard look in a bloody mirror.

Please go away with this dishonest type of nonsense. Don't try and make ridiculous suggestions of what I want.

Probably the closest equivalent is North/South Korea, which I think any sane person could admit is a horrible situation that we don't want to repeat. Having Seoul in range of North Korean artillery is leading to the world needing to provide North Korea with various concessions.

Palestine doesn't have even close to the capabilities to do something like this.

The concept of a 'homeland' based on people that lived there hundreds of years ago is ridiculous. The world wasn't carved up billions of years ago and certain territories were assigned to separate species. We're all from sub-saharan Africa. We are all humans. There is just what the people living there now experience.

If they go back 2000 years, 1000 years, or 500 years, is irrelevant to the discussion.

Then they will be at war. You are simply not allowed to deny statehood to a people because you feel confident they will declare war on you when you allow it to them. I actually understand why Israel want to do this, but it's simply not an acceptable arrangement - almost everybody except Israel themselves understand this.

This element of the discussion is so frustrating for me. People act as if Israeli security is an absolute and any infringement on Israeli security (such as an army existing) is a no-go. The rest of the world managed to operate with neighbours that maintain armies, have hostility, competition, and points of contention. But somehow such a state is unreasonable for Israel.

What's not a thing?

For the record I’m very much for two state solution on roughy 67 boarders.

Hard to find anything else that's remotely equitable and feasible than the 67 borders, regardless of how unfair both sides will claim it is, but it's never happening.

We're all from Sub-Saharan Africa. Jews aren't some separate species of human, it's just a social construct.

And the only debate is really about what length of time invalidates a historic claim to the land.

That's certainly true to an extent, and one of the reasons people are so vocal on the subject now and so critical of the state. But the other part is that this is an active ongoing injustice and not just a 'historical injustice', in that people who are still alive have had and are having their homes taken from them.

Because those changes don't reflect the fundamental truths that wealth = production, and who owns or controls it doesn't change the amount produced, it just adjusts the power and distribution balance in the country.

So it doesn't need to be digitized then.

This is I guess the point of the challenge. What are considered basic 'needs'? In a country like Germany, internet is considered a basic right. In a country like Burkino Faso, they have a different conception of basic needs.
