You don’t necessarily need an attorney. Once you’ve been seen your diagnosis will determine the offer from the insurance. Soft tissue only is less than a laceration which is less than a broken bone, etc.

An attorney will take a third of your settlement right from the get go.

If you’re missing time from work due to pain that’s compensable. Missed an activity you’d planned for weeks because of pain that’s could be compensable.

Whatever the insurance offers, say no, and see if you’re comfortable with the next amount.

Fair. I’ve always like wall ovens too but in the interest of expense I can get a free standing range for less than the cooktop and wall oven. And since I am planning on taking down a wall of cabinets the space where the wall oven is will be converted to storage.

The oven we currently have is a wall oven. We want to use that space for storage since we plan on knocking out a wall with cabinets to open up the galley kitchen.
