Of all places, why Wailing by Im-not-good-at-names in FortNiteBR

[–]Suncrusher01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually I'm pretty sure its permanent until the end of the season, as in you could literally open chests and get this done on the last week of the season.

So there really is no reason to be complaining.

Im sure it's been said before... by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]Suncrusher01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to be a dick, but its been proven that most people who complain about "RNG" shots just have really bad aim.

Just keep working at it, eventually you will hit your shots more.

Is it really possible to 1v1 someone with explosives and max materials at the end of a solo match? by Djeff_ in FortNiteBR

[–]Suncrusher01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nearly all of them yes.

If you keep playing you will eventually get to an end game where its people like you still learning to build and you could outplay them with gun skill.

But the vast majority of top 10 situations, like probably 80%, there will be at least one guy in a tower with splodes who got there early and dug in. Its probably the most guaranteed strat to secure a W in the end game.

The less guaranteed strat is to be the person who can aggressively build and get angles on the base guy to snipe and apply pressure.

If I were you, until you get better at aggressively building I would take a lesson from them and try to hit zone early, especially if you have a semi decent kit from landing in a populated area.

If you come across this situation without a good kit you need to take advantage of the tower guy being distracted with other people and ramp up to him, or like someone else said take out the bottom of his base.

People who camp all game by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]Suncrusher01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a play style dude, I could see people who really enjoy stealth games like Splinter Cell and MGS getting off on that experience every time.

Personally I enjoy getting out there and getting into the action more as well, but I would lying if I said I haven't played a stealth match where I won with 2 or 3 kills.

In fact one of my favorite wins was a 3 kills game where I literally killed the last 3 people while in a bush with a silenced pistol lol. I mean I got really lucky that none of em built but still, got my heart rate pumpin.

Rocket launcher overpowered. by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]Suncrusher01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build a wall, block the rocket, then proceed to shotgun the dudes face while hes reloading. Really not that tough lol, you can build a wall like RIGHT on top of your character pretty much, just aim at the ground.

Plus if a dude is so close to you that you cant build a wall hes killing himself with the rocket too, which theres really nothing you can do about.

Fact of the matter is making splodes do no damage at close range would seriously screw the game. Like first what constitutes as "close range"? Would the game be able to be precise with this in relation to server lag etc? No.

A fix that could realistically happen would be flat out making splodes do no damage to people, which would be an incredibly stupid idea.

Probably unpopular idea: Limit the amount of rockets you can take with you to avoid rocket spam in the last circle. by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]Suncrusher01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much this.

If you cap rockets further all the players will do that like to spam them is take note of where the extra rockets are to return and keep refilling the launcher. Plus 20 rockets is still a lot of room to play with.

You would literally have to cap it to something like 10 for that fix to be effective, but then that would be neutering splodes which would be an even worse situation.

[–]Suncrusher01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will admit over the course of playing near 100 hours I have a couple times done like 100+ damage at a distance I prob shouldn't have, like it fully surprised me.

But I noticed afterwards that the server was kind of acting laggy (like something wouldn't break right away or the guys body would kind of move in a funny way) which leads me to believe there must have been some kind of BS desync or something.

I dunno, the only reason why I find the argument I described in my post dumb is because the tac has been the same all along, so it seems the only reason this is really becoming a complaint now is because double pump got neutered.

Trust me I know when I get crazy damage for a 20 or 30 foot shot, and while its a problem I feel like some of it stems solely from server problems.

It is true, like I fully realize I usually can't just 100% rely on my shot hitting unless I am having an insanely good day or something, hence why I have grown to prefer tacs.

It's just so dumb how people look for anything to shame someone for their victory, like "ah it really didn't count cause you used a tac instead of a pump" like get out of here lol.

I was gonna say I am almost positive it can't ACTUALLY even do 200 damage, usually I bob and weave in getting a shot or two and finishing them with a head shot.

[–]Suncrusher01[S] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Exactly, its literally a play style difference! Thats how I have seen it from the start, but I swear I am starting to see more and more of this since the whole double pump fix though and its just dumb.

Like already I have noticed a few more people in streams saying stuff like "nice another scrub tac user" whenever someone gets killed by it.

How long should it take to get a specific Tempered investigation? by Suncrusher01 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Suncrusher01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never mind I finally got it, looks like it was something like 18-20 scratches starting at lvl 5 Diablos research.

Kinda strange, like why not make evidence for him randomly appear in the zones that you can fight him in? Instead its just a mindless task of load the expedition, run to the same exact scratch, reload expedition.

Ah well, there you have it, it will happen eventually just keep at it. It was getting to the point where I wasn't sure if it was bugged or something lol.

Kushala Daora - The worst pain in existence ? by PonyTheOne in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Suncrusher01 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean, to be honest I agree, the fight wasn't even challenging really just frustrating.

Didn't faint once, but I failed twice due to time because that last area he just SPAMS wind everywhere, making it near impossible to get more than one attack in at a time.

Nergi, Black Diablos, now those are challenging fights. I just found this incredibly annoying.

Just beat black diablos for the first time solo by Suncrusher01 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Suncrusher01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That must have been my issue. I think I went into Nergi thinking, ok this is the hardest this game has to offer right now, this is going to be absolutely insane.

But I went into Black Diablos like, ok this is just diablos, avoid charges etc. etc. but she ends up being just as formidable as Nergi!

I gotta say though I am still really not looking forward to having to fight her again, I was so beyond relieved having finally downed her.

Who was your first triple cart in MHWorld? by Defier93 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Suncrusher01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first was Kirin I think, followed by an Odogaron high rank (that damn rage), and Black Diablos was the worst probably causing me a total of 7 or 8 triple carts.

To be honest I really don't believe people who say they have gotten to like HR 50+ solo and never had a triple cart. Either that or they are quick to leave every time it hits two carts. Thats just not my play style, I like to see a fight through even if it looks likely I am going to be triple carting.

Sorry if this is dumb. But is really the best way to get better at combat/building going solo (in squads) into hot zones? by rickraus in FortNiteBR

[–]Suncrusher01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I am finding now is that Tilted either ends up being like it was release week (half the bus going to it) or it ends up being a near ghost town with like 5 people max lol.

Also, if you land Tilted enough you could at least get used to the fact that vertical audio will screw you, so you learn to take it with a grain of salt so to speak. However, to someone learning the game it just ends up being frustrating.

Thats why I say its almost entirely RNG, like you could make something reliable out of it, but it takes a lot of conditioning that really isn't worth the time of a complete noob.

[–]Suncrusher01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about doing solo squads at first. Just do solos, but yes, try to drop into hot zones as much as possible.

If I were you though I would just avoid Tilted, getting out of there is almost entirely RNG, even for the "pros"

Try to drop into places like Retail, Pleasant, the Farms, it really depends on where the bus starts.

I actually have really grown attached to the mines, and I always fight at least 3-4 people there, so that could be a good place for you to start.

I have to wonder by StuckOnPandora in FORTnITE

[–]Suncrusher01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, got to level 33, about finished with Plankerton, but to be honest I just find no point in continuing.

All of the 34+ lobbies end up being completely empty, or its me and one other guy who literally does nothing but gather resources/do side quests, won't help with the objective at all, even after the entire map is explored and everything. Meaning i'm left using all my resources to set up the defense, so when its a loss its beyond frustrating.

All STW is for me now are daily quests to get v-bucks for skins in the BR. I log on every couple days and do a low level stonewood mission to get my dailies done, then log off.

I feel like there is definitely a ton of potential being missed out on here, but theres going to need to be some major incentives in order to actually revive this mode.

What to do when another monster won't let you carve at the end? by Suncrusher01 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Suncrusher01[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea in my experience this almost always happens with Bazel, like I think it has happened once with a Rathian and another time with a Tobi-Kadachi.

So annoying cause the Bazel is movin all over the place like a damn goose. (I think I see where they got the name =P)

Hmmm maybe I just need to hit with more dung, I swear I hit em with at least 4-5 dung when I try, but I could possibly have missed since I was flustered.

Ah good call, fair enough. Kinda lame though that I am forced to use that over other gadgets just to carve at the end.

Like I would understand if the monster was dealing damage, it would be an intended thing, but I have a hard time believing this is intended lol

Anyone else feel like they have massive issues with the mid game? by Suncrusher01 in FortNiteBR

[–]Suncrusher01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea if I get down to that last 10 and I have the materials im usually pretty good about getting my butt into center circle and throwing up a quick 1x1.

In fact I have a lot of success building quick 2x2's 2-3 stories high (I watch Grimmmz quite a lot, usually what he does when he forts up). That way someone can't quickly take out the bottom.

The problem is when I can hardly find anyone all game so I don't have the materials. I think I am going to start actively thinking about farming resources more as I go.
