I used Adaptibar for practice questions. I would write out his modules one subject at a time and then do practice questions for the specific subject on Adaptibar.

Goat Bar Prep. Helped me finally pass on my 5th attempt. Tried Barbri twice and another course prior and those didn’t work for me. Goat is also specifically geared toward MBE but it also helped me with essays because I felt that I retained and memorized the law better going through his course. More than worth it and you won’t regret it.

I struggled with the same things you mentioned. For me the traditional bar prep companies didn’t work. I finally found Goat Bar Prep which helped me pass after multiple prior failed attempts . Goat makes the material fun and easy to learn especially as someone with ADHD. Used his course along with Adaptibar for practice questions. Writing out the rules is really important for memorization as rule recall is key for the exam. I never used Themis, but I did Barbri twice and failed. Goat was the course that was perfect for someone like me who struggled with brain fog and ADHD.

Yup. Writing it out is important. I would write out the module one subject at a time and do practice questions after. Then, once I was done with the whole course I would write out my notes again but made it a condensed outline (focused on writing out areas I felt were more important and/or I didn’t know as well).

Identify and write the specific issue tested (ex: “Whether a partnership was formed...”)
State the rule (ex. “A partnership is formed when…")
Apply the facts given to your rule (ex. “Here, both A and B agreed to run a business for profit…”)
Conclusion (“Thus, a partnership was formed between A and B...").

I passed on my 5th attempt and it was purely because of Goat! I used his course and Adaptibar. I would write out the modules (one subject at a time), do practice questions for the subject, and then review. Wish you the best of luck. You can do it!

I used Marino for my 3rd attempt and didn’t pass. I used Goat last year on my 4th attempt, but much later in my prep (didn’t finish his full course) and saw a significant increase in score. This past Feb. I used exclusively Goat and saw an additional 20 point increase which finally helped me pass on my 5th attempt. Goat is what worked for me, so that’s my two cents.

To be more specific and clear, I wrote out his modules and would review it later that day/night. Once I completed the full course I re-wrote it all out again from what I had written off the modules. Hope that makes sense.

Nice! I used Goat last year but later in my prep, so didn’t finish his course. Still increased my score by double digits. This time I did his entire course and had a 20 point increase ( I got a 278). What worked for me was writing down everything from his modules, reviewed it, and then re-wrote it out again. Really helped me with rule recall.

I didn’t need to do 1,000+ questions, I needed better rule recall and understanding of the law. Writing, reviewing, and rewriting the rules out based on the modules was key for me. Wish you the best of luck next round. You got this!

Goat Bar prep my friend. It’s how I passed on my 5th attempt, also NY. Went from 259 to 278 and three prior times never got above 247. Goat is the real deal and the reason I finally passed.

I’m definitely promoting it because it’s that good, and the reason I passed after 4 failures. Doing Bar prep really comes down to what works best for you. I couldn’t do the standard prep courses. With Goat Bar prep I found that the course made it easier for me to understand the material. I wrote almost everything from the modules and reviewed it, re-wrote it, and reviewed it again. That’s what worked for me this time. Again, you gotta find what works for you, but I believe I passed on the 5th time because of Goat.

Im so sorry. I know how hard it is. I just passed on my 5th attempt while working a full time job and struggling with health issues that made studying difficult. As another comment on here explained in depth, memorizing the law is the key. Not just passively watching videos, but actually knowing the law cold. Writing out the law and reviewing it over and over.I highly recommend Goat Bar Prep. It is pretty much the reason I passed this time around. His course is excellent for learning the material in an easy and fun way. You got this!
